    摘要: A single switch unit having a pair of switches is provided in the vicinity of a throttle grip which is provided in a distal end of a tiller handle. The single switch unit is provided with a function of performing the operation for changing a tilt angle of an outboard motor body with respect to a hull and a function of performing the operation for adjusting a rotational speed of an engine of the outboard motor at the time of trolling operation. Upon simultaneous pressing of a pair of the switches, these two functions of the switch unit are switched.

    摘要: An outboard motor generally comprises an engine holder, an engine disposed above the engine holder, an oil pan disposed below the engine holder, and an engine cover covering the engine holder, the engine and the oil pan so as to define a space between the engine and the engine cover. The engine includes a crankcase in which a crankshaft extends vertically perpendicularly in a usable state of the outboard motor, a cylinder block disposed rear side of the crankcase, a cylinder head disposed rear side of the cylinder block, an intake unit disposed to one surface side of the engine, an exhaust unit disposed to another one surface side thereof and arranged so as to project outward from the another one surface side of the engine as an exhaust projection portion, and an electrical equipment part. The above-mentioned space between the engine and the engine cover includes a space portion defined by the cylinder head, the exhaust projection portion and the engine cover and the electrical equipment part is disposed in this space portion.

    摘要: A precoated steel sheet having improved corrosion resistance and formability is disclosed, which comprises a Zn- or Zn alloy-plated steel sheet having on the plated surface either a colloidal silica-containing chromate undercoat layer and a polyhydroxypolyether resin-based topcoat of 0.3 to 10 .mu.m in thickness in which resin is derived by polycondensation of a dihydric phenol component selected from a mononuclear dihydric phenol, dinuclear dihydric phenol, and a mixture of both, with an epihalohydrin or a non-colloidal material-containing chromate underlayer and an epoxy resin based topcoat containing colloidal silica of a thickness of from 0.3-1.6 .mu.m in thickness. In spite of the absence of zinc powder, the precoated steel sheet can be satisfactorily welded by resistance welding when the thickness of the topcoat layer is not greater than 2.5 .mu.m, and even with such a thin topcoat, the precoated steel sheet retains its improved corrosion resistance and formability. The precoated steel sheet can be satisfactorily finish-coated by electrodeposition. The undercoat layer is produced by a two stage reduction of Cr.sup.+6 to Cr.sup.+3 in an aqueous suspension containing chromic acid.
