    Abstract: A vehicle door window glass support structure includes: a sash part protruding upward with respect to the door panel; and window glass that is elevated or lowered along the sash part, in which the sash part includes a glass position regulating means that determines the position of the window glass in both vehicle interior and exterior directions and an intersecting direction that intersects the vehicle interior and exterior directions at least at a position where the window glass is elevated most. This configuration makes it possible to improve the position accuracy of the window glass with respect to the sash part, enhancing the appearance quality and the support performance of the window glass.

    Abstract: Drive device for an adjustment installation for adjusting a vehicle part, in particular a power window actuator, may include a carrier element that may define an opening, a cable drum which by way of a portion is inserted into the opening of the carrier element in such a manner that the portion at least partially extends through the opening, and a cable exit housing which is disposed on a first side of the carrier element and which has a bearing element which on the first side of the carrier element mounts the cable drum so as to be rotatable about a rotation axis. At least one bearing element which projects radially to the rotation axis from the portion is disposed on the portion of the cable drum, said bearing element engaging radially across a counter bearing on a periphery of the carrier element surrounding the opening of the carrier element.

    Abstract: In at least some implementations, a cable control system includes a spool on which a portion of a cable may be taken up and released, an input shaft coupled to the spool, and a motor coupled to the input shaft to drive the input shaft and spool in a first direction to take up cable on the spool and in a second direction to release cable from the spool. The control system also has two clutches that allow rotation of the spool without corresponding rotation of the motor. Each clutch may have a first member coupled to the input shaft and a second member coupled to the spool and relative rotation between the first and second members of the clutch allows rotation of the spool relative to the motor or input shaft.

    Abstract: In a window regulator, and a method of producing the same, which moves a slider base along a guide rail via wires in accordance with rotation of a drum, includes a fitting portion having a first protrusion and a second protrusion provided on a drum housing which supports the drum, wherein the first protrusion protrudes from an abutting surface of the drum housing with which an end surface of the guide rail can come into contact and wherein the second protrusion protrudes from the abutting surface by a smaller amount of protrusion than that of the first protrusion, and the drum housing and the guide rail are joined by restricting movement of the guide rail in the thickness direction thereof by inserting the guide rail in between the first protrusion and the second protrusion. Workability during manufacturing of the window regulator is thereby improved.
