摘要: A method for making a magnetic-nanoparticle-supported catalyst includes reacting a ferrocenyl phosphine compound with an amino alcohol compound to form a ligand having a phosphine group, an amine group and at least one hydroxyl group; anchoring the ligand to a surface of magnetic nanoparticles via an oxygen atom of the hydroxyl group to form a ligand complex; combining the ligand complex with a metal precursor comprising Rh to bind the metal precursor with the ligand complex and form the magnetic-particle-supported catalyst. The magnetic-particle-supported catalyst is a Rh complex of magnetic-Fe3O4-nanoparticle-supported ferrocenyl phosphine catalyst.

摘要: Mixed-phase TiO2 nanofibers prepared via a sol-gel technique followed by electrospinning and calcination are provided as photocatalysts. The calcination temperature is adjusted to control the rutile phase fraction in TiO2 nanofibers relative to the anatase phase. Post-calcined TiO2 nanofibers composed of 38 wt % rutile and 62 wt % anatase exhibited the highest initial rate constant of UV photocatalysis. This can be attributed to the combined influences of the fibers' specific surface areas and their phase compositions.

摘要: Metal-organic framework materials (MOFs) are highly porous entities comprising a multidentate organic ligand coordinated to multiple metal centers. MOFs having ambient condition stability may comprise a plurality of metal clusters comprising one or more M4O clusters (M is a metal), and a plurality of 4-pyrazolecarboxylate ligands coordinated to the plurality of metal clusters to define an at least partially crystalline network structure having a plurality of internal pores. The MOFs may have a Pa3 symmetry, which upon activation may convert into Fm3m symmetry. Methods for synthesizing the MOFs may comprise combining a metal source, such as a preformed metal cluster, with 4-pyrazolecarboxylic acid, and reacting the preformed metal cluster with the 4-pyrazolecarboxylic acid to form a MOF having an at least partially crystalline network structure with a plurality of internal pores defined therein and comprising a plurality of metal clusters coordinated to a multidentate organic ligand comprising 4-pyrazolecarboxylate.

In some embodiments, the MOF is a zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF). In some embodiments, the MOF is a bimetallic MOF. In some embodiments, the bimetallic MOF is a bimetal ZIF. In an additional embodiment, the present disclosure pertains to a flame-retardant composite composed of a polymer that can include, without limitation, polypropylene, polyethylene, high-density polyethylene, low-density polyethylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, poly(methyl methacrylate), a polyolefin, and combinations thereof, an IFR, and a ZIF.

摘要: An organic frame material having a cobalt-containing isopoly-molybdic acid metal, a method of manufacturing the same, and applications thereof are provided. The organic frame material having a cobalt-containing isopoly-molybdic acid metal includes a three-dimensional network structure comprising cobalt ions coordinated with 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-bis (1,2,4-triazole-1-methyl) benzene ligands and trinuclear molybdate anions. The organic frame material having a cobalt-containing isopoly-molybdic acid metal has higher catalytic activity towards the bulk ring-opening of p-dioxanone. The resulting poly(p-dioxanone) has a weight average molecular weight exceeding 70,000 and is capable of being applied in the field of high polymer materials.
