    摘要: A redox flow battery (“CRB”) performs as an energy storage system and has a negative electrode that directly utilizes CO2 in the battery charge step as an active species instead of metals. The CRB also has a positive electrode utilizing a metallic or non-metallic redox species, and a cation exchange membrane in between the negative and positive electrodes. The negative electrode comprises a porous base layer, a porous intermediate layer containing a metal oxide and a bi-functional catalyst layer for electrochemical reduction of CO2 or carbonate to formate and for formate oxidation to either carbonate or CO2. The bi-functional catalyst can be a PdSn based catalyst, such as PdSn, PdSnIn, and PdSnPb. The metal oxide in the intermediate layer acts as a catalyst support and can be a non-Platinum group metal (PGM) oxide, such as LaCoO3 or LaNiO3.

    摘要: A conveying unit (1) for a fuel cell system (31) for conveying and/or recirculating a gaseous medium, in particular hydrogen, comprising a jet pump (4) driven by a driving jet of a pressurized gaseous medium, and comprising a metering valve (6) with a nozzle (12), wherein: the conveying unit (1) is designed as a combined valve jet pump assembly (2); the gaseous medium is fed to the jet pump (4) by means of the metering valve (6); the jet pump (4) has a main body (8); and the jet pump (4) is connected to an anode inlet (3) of a fuel cell (29). According to the invention, a deflection and/or change of direction of the gaseous medium which flows in a flow direction VII from the jet pump (4) to the anode input (3) of the fuel cell (29) occurs exclusively in the deflection region (22), said the jet pump (4) having a separate closure cover (5) connected to the main body (8), and the deflection region (22) and/or the deflection- or guiding geometry of the deflection region for the gaseous medium (22) is formed exclusively in the component of the closing cover (5).

    摘要: A fuel cell system comprising: a fuel cell, a fuel gas supplier configured to supply fuel gas to an anode of the fuel cell, an oxidant gas supplier configured to supply oxidant gas to a cathode of the fuel cell, a humidity adjuster configured to adjust a relative humidity of the fuel gas and a relative humidity of the oxidant gas, and a controller, wherein the controller detects the relative humidity of the fuel gas at an anode inlet of the fuel cell, and the controller detects the relative humidity of the oxidant gas at a cathode outlet of the fuel cell, and wherein, based on detection results, the controller controls the humidity adjuster so that the relative humidity of the fuel gas at the anode inlet is higher than the relative humidity of the oxidant gas at the cathode outlet.
