    摘要: Methods and systems for monitoring rotating shaft shafts and couplings in an aircraft propulsion system is described. The measurement system/method provides for accurate and precise monitoring of a rotating shaft flexible coupling in a fixed wing aircraft vehicle propulsion system. The measuring system/method provides for a high reliability short take off vertical landing fixed wing aircraft in which the vertical propulsion dynamically rotating drive shaft system and couplings are monitored in real time. The vehicular shaft coupling misalignment measuring system utilizes multiple positional sensors to provide highly reliable and precise determination of the dynamic characteristics of the rotating sensor target components of the propulsion system drive shaft. The relative position of the sensors is rigidly fixed externally from the rotating targets with a structural frame. The collar misalignment measuring system of the invention provide a misalignment measurement of the propulsion system drive shaft flexible coupling which relates to a critical performance of rotating shaft coupling in the operation of an aircraft vehicle. The method/system provides for monitoring a rotating drive shaft system and dynamically measuring a rotating drive shaft coupling in a fixed wing aircraft propulsion system.

    摘要: Epoxy-modified, two-part acrylic structural adhesives characterized by improved T-peel strength are disclosed. These adhesives are not inhibited by oxygen. Representative embodiments include 2-part acrylic structural adhesives comprising, in a first package from about 10 to about 90 percent by weight of at least one methacrylate selected from C3-C10 alkyl monosubstituted-, C1-C6 alkyl disubstituted-, C1-C4 alkyl tri-substituted, and C1-C4 alkyl tetra-substituted cyclohexyl methacrylate. The ring substituents are prefereably in the 3, 4, and/or 5 ring position, and linear or branched C4-C10 branched alkyl methacrylates; from about 10 to about 80 percent by weight of a toughener, and an adhesion promotor; and in a second package, a bonding activator, and optional epoxy resin.

A movable member is located within the cavity and is movable relative to the housing. A magnetic field generator located on either the housing or the movable member causes the housing to press against the movable member to develop a friction force. The flux caused by the magnetic field flows through the housing, the movable member and at least one pole located along the movable member. The at least one pole comprises a first portion having a first axial dimension and a second portion having a second axial dimension where the first axial dimension is greater than the second axial dimension and as a result the magnetic flux through the second portion of the at least one pole has a greater magnitude than the magnetic flux through the first portion of the pole.
