摘要: A carbonaceous material for an electrical double layer capacitor is produced by performing a halogenation treatment step wherein a halogenated dry-distilled charcoal is obtained by bringing a dry-distilled charcoal into contact with a halogen gas; a molding treatment step of adding a binding agent to the halogenated dry-distilled charcoal to form a molded article; and a dehalogenation treatment step wherein a part or all of the halogen in the molded article is eliminated. The carbonaceous material for an electrical double layer capacitor obtained by this method is impregnated with sulfuric acid to form a carbon electrode for an electrical double layer capacitor. This electrode is used to form an electrical double layer capacitor.

摘要: A semiconductor memory device wherein source lines of a memory cell array constituted by a plurality of memory cells arranged in the form of a matrix at intersecting points of word lines and bit lines are arranged in a row direction or a column direction and the source lines of the nonselected rows or the nonselected columns are inversely biased with respect to the semiconductor substrate, thereby to prevent erroneous reading by the leakage current at the time of reading data and further reduce the write current at the time of writing. Further, the read operation is kept from deteriorating by reducing the amplitude of the source line at the time of reading by setting the inverse bias voltage at a minimum constant voltage smaller than the power source voltage.

摘要: In a system equipped with a plurality of magnetic disk devices, one magnetic disk device is used as a device (master unit) for generating reference signals for rotating other plurality of devices in synchronism. Other one or more magnetic disk devices (slave units) are rotated in synchronism following the reference signals generated from the master unit. In order to maintain the synchronism of revolution between the master unit and the slave units, the conditions of revolution of the two spindle motors are compared to maintain the synchronism of revolution. Index pulses recorded on the magentic disks of the master unit and the slave units are used as reference signals for maintaining synchronism of revolutions. Index pulses from the master unit and the slave units are compared to find a phase difference signal and a period difference signal, and the rotational speed of the slave units is compensated by using these two signals.

摘要: A method of and apparatus for setting the direction of a parabolic antenna towards a broadcasting satellite, suitable for use in the case where a plurality of satellites are available for service. The elevation angle and the azimuth angle of the antenna with respect to each satellite are minutely adjusted while the state of receiving of waves from the satellite is watched, and the values of the elevation and azimuth angles for each satellite are stored in a memory section when the optimum state of receiving is attained. When the user selects one of the satellites through a selecting section, a control section operates to activate a driving section to swing the antenna vertically and horizontally in accordance with the stored optimum data, thus directing the antenna correctly towards the designated satellite.

摘要: The disclosure provides a method for producing an electronic component in which the oxidation of Cu constituting an internal conductor part of the component is inhibited or prevented in a firing step, and even when a magnetic body part containing NiO, ZnO, Fe2O3, etc. is reduced in the firing step, the magnetic body part is subsequently oxidized to ensure the original characteristics. In producing the electronic component, an unfired laminated body including parts to serve as the magnetic body part and the internal conductor part after firing is subjected to firing in an atmosphere with an oxygen concentration equal to or lower than the equilibrium oxygen partial pressure of Cu—Cu2O, and the fired laminated body is then subjected to an oxygenic-atmosphere heat treatment in an atmosphere with an oxygen concentration of 0.01% or more in a step of decreasing the temperature.
