Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for a power tool in control of a vacuum. In response to activation input, the power tool controls a motor for driving power tool operation and wirelessly transmits a control signal to a vacuum. In response to receiving the control signal, the vacuum controls a motor for driving operation of the vacuum. The power tool, the vacuum, or both include a wireless communication pairing butting for paring the power tool and the vacuum. The power tool and/or the vacuum may be cordless and powered by a battery pack.

Abstract: A portable light includes an elongated housing having a first end and a second end, and an opening formed in a side of the elongated housing between the first and second ends. The portable light also includes a light source positioned within the opening of the elongated housing, and an actuator positioned within the opening of the elongated housing and electrically coupled to the light source. The actuator is operable to control operation of the light source. The portable light further includes a faceplate removably coupled to the elongated housing over the opening. The faceplate includes a lens that covers the light source and a movable member that covers the actuator.

A thermal detection device includes a visual sensor, a thermal sensor (e.g., a thermopile array), a controller, a user interface, a display, and a removable and rechargeable battery pack. The thermal detection device also includes a plurality of additional software and hardware modules configured to perform or execute various functions and operations of the thermal detection device. An output from the visual sensor and an output from the thermal sensor are combined by the controller or the plurality of additional modules to generate a combined image for display on the display.

Abstract: A vehicle battery jump starter that is powered by a removable and rechargeable battery pack, such as a battery pack used with various hand-held power tools. The battery pack removably connects to a vehicle battery jump starter and can be selectively used to charge a power boost module within the vehicle battery jump starter. The power boost module includes, for example, a plurality of supercapacitors or lithium polymer battery cells. The power boost module in combination with the battery pack 100 can be used to jump start a vehicle battery.

A power supply interface may be configured to receive power from a power source of the vehicle and may be configured to provide power to the battery pack, the lighting device, or both the battery pack and the lighting device. The lighting system may include a second electronic processor that may be configured to receive, via the communication interface, onboard diagnostic information from a first electronic processor of the vehicle, and control, based on the onboard diagnostic information, an amount of power drawn by the power supply interface from the power source of the vehicle.

Abstract: A wireless hoist system including a first hoist device having a first motor and a first wireless transceiver and a second hoist device having a second motor and a second wireless transceiver.
