摘要: Operational data of an elevator are constantly and successively stored in RAM of a terminal supervisor unit. If the elevator develops a malfunction which lasts for a predetermined time, this malfunction is detected and reported from the terminal supervisor unit to a supervisor center, together with relevant data, such as the place of occurrence of the malfunction, the code number of the elevator in question and the kind of malfunction. The data relevant to the malfunction are collected at a time point when predetermined specific data indicate that a malfunction is likely. For this purpose, malfunction-indicating states of the specific data are preset and stored in a preset value storage unit, for each possible kind of malfunction, and are constantly compared with the corresponding actual data. By collecting relevant data before actual determination of a malfunction, an investigation for a cause of the malfunction through an analysis of data can be performed more accurately.

摘要: A method of producing an electrophotographic image is disclosed. The method includes steps of forming an electrostatic latent image on the photoconductive layer, developing an electrostatic latent image, transferring the developed image to a transferee and cleaning residual toner remained on the electrostatic latent image carrier. The cleaning step is carried out in a cleaning device equipped with a cleaning roller and a cleaning blade and with a developer comprising colored particles comprising a resin, coloring agent and inorganic fine particles adhered to the colored particles.

摘要: A sodium cooled fast ractor comprises a reactor vessel in which a liquid metal coolant is accommodated, a core disposed substantially a lower central portion of the reactor vessel in an installed state, a core support structure secured to the reactor vessel for supporting the core, the core support structure dividing an interior of the reactor vessel into a high-pressure plenum below the core and a low-pressure plenum above the high-pressure plenum, a circulation pump unit for applying a discharge pressure to the liquid metal coolant and circulating the same, and an intermediate heat exchanger for performing a heat exchanging operation of the coolant in the reactor vessel. The circulation pump unit is composed of an electromagnetic circulation pump provided with a discharge port and a closed gas space, which is filled up with a closed gas, defined above and communicated with the discharge port. The discharge port is also communicated with the high-pressure plenum, wherein the liquid metal coolant above the discharge port flows into the high-pressure plenum by the discharge gas pressure of the gas accummulated in the closed gas space by the actuation of the electromagnetic circulation pump at a time of trip thereof.

摘要: In a parking brake operating device for a motor vehicle, an operating lever and an intermediate lever are pivotally mounted around a transverse common shaft. The intermediate lever is pivotally mounted to a locking lever at its upper part. The locking lever is engaged with an engaging pin of the operating lever. A release lever is pivotally mounted at an upper part of the operating lever and is engaged with the locking lever in a locking position. By pressing an operating portion of the release lever manually, the release lever is disengaged from the locking lever, which is, then, disengaged from the engaging pin of the operating lever. Thus, the operating lever can easily be brought down by one hand of a driver while the parking brake is applied, and the inside of the motor vehicle is effectively utilized without keeping the operating lever upright.

摘要: A wound dressing is provided herein for systemic administration of a physiologically- or biologically-active agent by controlled release of the agent into such wound. The wound dressing includes a substrate in the form of a fabric or cloth, at least a portion of which is cellulosic, which has been chemically modified to convert hydroxyl groups in the cellulosic portion to ionic-adsorbing sites. An ionic form of a physiologically- or biologically-active agent, namely an antibacterial agent, an antifungal agent, an analgesic agent, a tissue healant agent, a local anesthetic agent, an antibleeding agent, an enzyme or a vasoconstrictor is adsorbed in that substrate. Ionic bonds hold that agent temporarily to the substrate for controlled release therefrom in proportion to the amount of exudate in contact with the substrate. The ionic bonds are formed by adsorbing that agent on that substrate at room temperature. The ionic bonds disassociate upon contact with body exudate from wounds to which the wound dressing is applied by ion exchange with ions in the body exudate, thereby to release that agent in an amount in proportion to the amount of the exudate in contact with the substrate.
