    摘要: A continuously variable transmission for bicycles having a transmission mechanism including a plurality of link units for converting rotary motion of an input shaft rotated by a pedal-operated crankshaft into swinging motion, and a one-way clutch for converting the swinging motion into rotary motion of an output shaft. The link units have drive links pivotally mounted on an eccentric ring which rotates in unison with the input shaft. The continuously variable transmission is disposed between a front wheel and a rear wheel of a bicycle in the longitudinal direction thereof and disposed either upwardly of a hypothetical plane which contains the axes of rotation of the front wheel and the rear wheel or upwardly of a position below and near the hypothetical plane. The transmission so configured provides better bicycle maneuverability, lower cost, while suffering almost no danger of contacting the ground.

    摘要: A speed change gear shaft for a bicycle having an internal speed change gear. The speed change gear is of the internal multistage type, and a speed change gear shaft is provided separately from a crankshaft of the bicycle. A swing arm on which a rear wheel is supported is supported for rocking motion on a main frame a rocking shaft. Since the speed change gear is disposed in the proximity of the rocking shaft, the fluttering of a chain can be suppressed small. Moreover, since the rocking shaft need not necessarily be disposed in the proximity of the crankshaft, the degree of freedom in design increases. Also, because the speed change gear shaft is disposed forward of the rocking shaft, the fluttering of the chain can be minimizer.

    摘要: In a bicycle transmission, a driven sprocket wheel body includes a plurality of driven sprocket wheels which are connected with a drive sprocket wheel by an endless chain. A derailleur is provided for changing over the winding of the endless chain among the plurality of driven sprocket wheels.. The drive sprocket wheel is prevented from moving beyond a given range even when an excessive external force is applied to the drive sprocket wheel at the time of traveling. A slide member is movable in the axial direction of a drive shaft and is provided between the drive shaft and a drive sprocket wheel. A drive sprocket wheel movement restricting member is provided which sandwiches the drive sprocket wheel position setting member and moves in the axial direction of the drive shaft together with the drive sprocket wheel.

    摘要: There is provide a cover member which is pivotally connected to a vehicle floor near a rear end of a seat cushion at its lower end and to a seat back at its upper end. The seat back is supported by the cover member so as to move forward and be located in its rising position in front of the seat cushion and behind a front seat located before the rear seat according to a forward rotation of the cover member via the lower end pivotal connection to the vehicle floor. The cover member covers substantially an upper face of the seat cushion and provide a substantially flat and horizontal face at the vehicle rear in cooperation with a floor of the load compartment when the seat back has moved forward.

    摘要: An output sprocket wheel attachment structure includes a coned disk spring fitted with an output power shaft is abutted with and positioned by a stepped portion. An output sprocket wheel spline-fitted with spline grooves formed at an outer side portion of the output power shaft with respect to the stepped portion is pressed by the coned disk spring. A cap nut which engages with male threads formed at an end portion of the output power shaft is restricted and fixed at a bottom face thereof by and to an axial end of the output power shaft. Movement in an axial direction of the output sprocket wheel pressed by the coned disk spring is restricted by an opening end portion of the cap nut.

    摘要: A multi-stage transmission includes both a drive and a driven gear shaft. A plurality of driven gears are mounted on the driven gear shaft for engagement and disengagement from the driven gear shaft individually by an engaging member that is changed over to make a gear shift. The engaging member includes swing pawl members swingably supported by pivot pins on the driven shaft. End parts of the swing pawl members, extending from the pivot pins are engaging claw parts engageable with engaging surfaces of engaging projections formed on the inner circumferential surfaces of the driven gears. The other end parts of the swing pawl members are acted upon to be pushed up by pin members which are operated to be advanced and retracted by gear shifting operation. The pin members operate to release engagement of the engaging claw parts with the engaging projections of the driven gears.
