摘要: For use when the recordable area of a recording medium is smaller than recording data, there is provided a recording device that can determine the priority of divided areas and preferentially record a high-priority area. The recording device assigns priority to each of the recording areas of a whole image on one page and, if it is determined that the whole image does not fit on the recording medium, performs at least one of rearranging the recording position of a high-priority area, changing the recording size of a low-priority area, and discarding a part of recording data of the low-priority area based on the priority of the recording areas to prevent any part of the image of the high-priority area from being lost.

摘要: A method for producing a package of a fluidized substance is disclosed. The method includes a supplying step in which a prescribed amount of a fluidized substance (103) is supplied onto a first sheet (a first sheet 101′ of continuous length) by use of a metering-applicator (2) for the fluidized substance comprising a metering through-hole (21) having an outer opening and an inner opening. The supplying step comprises positioning the first sheet so as to be brought into contact with the outer opening of the metering through-hole (21), and then supplying the fluidized substance (103) from the inner opening of the metering through-hole (21) via the metering through-hole (21) onto the first sheet while the first sheet is conveyed.

摘要: A powder composition containing a powder of a modified polymer having a recurring unit containing at least one carboxyl group, the carboxyl groups of part of the recurring units being in the form of a salt with an aliphatic amine having at least 6 carbon atoms, and a powder of a surfactant. The powder composition is used for forming an image on a printing medium, in which method the composition is applied over a surface of a transfer medium to form a layer of the powder. An image of a liquid ink capable of dissolving or swelling the powder is then formed on the layer so that the viscosity of the liquid ink increases when contacted with the powder. The image on the transfer medium is contacted with the printing medium so that the image is transferred to the printing medium.

摘要: A predetermined processing liquid is supplied by a liquid supplying unit to a sheet of transfer paper having a surface on which toner is stably attached. An adhesive state of the toner on the transfer paper sheet is changed to an unstable adhesive state. The processing liquid is constructed by water, aqueous solutions of a surfactant, a water-soluble polymer, etc. The transfer paper sheet including the processing liquid is fed to a toner separating unit. While the toner is heated and pressurized in the toner separating unit, the toner is attached to a separating roller having a surface on which the softened toner is easily attached. The toner separating unit then separates only the transfer paper sheet from the surface of the separating roller by a separating claw. The processing liquid is removed from the transfer paper sheet by heating the transfer paper sheet, etc. using a drying unit such that the transfer paper sheet can be reused for a copying machine, etc. Thereafter, the transfer paper sheet is discharged onto a paper discharging tray. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a method and an apparatus for regenerating and reusing the transfer paper sheet by removing the toner therefrom without damaging paper fibers.

摘要: In a magnetic head which can be mounted in large number on a rotating drum in large number and cope with a highfrequency band, a leading core and a trailing core can be easily discriminated from each other, and the type of a magnetic head can be easily identified. There is disclosed a magnetic head including a pair of magnetic head halfmembers obtained by forming magnetic metal layers serving as magnetic cores on a part on a nonmagnetic substrate and a thinfilm coil buried in the pair of magnetic head halfmembers, the pair of magnetic head halfmembers being joined to each other through a magnetic gap formed between the magnetic metal layer of one magnetic head halfmember and the magnetic metal layer of the other magnetic head halfmember, wherein an identification groove is formed in one magnetic head halfmember, and the formed identification groove makes the appearances of the pair of magnetic head halfmembers asymmetrical.
