    摘要： A system for transmitting information signal in which a temporally correlated group of image planes are continuously formed comprises: dividing means which divides the information signal into separate image planes and further divides each image plane portion of the signal into a plurality of blocks; first transmitting means for transmitting in a first degree of information density the first of the plurality of blocks obtained from the dividing means; second transmitting means for transmitting in a second degree of information density the second of the plurality of divided blocks obtained from the dividing means; and transmission inhibiting means for inhibiting transmission of the third of the plurality of divided blocks obtained from the dividing means by dividing a present image plane portion of the information signal.

    摘要： A rotary head type recording apparatus according to the present invention can record information signals on a tape-shaped magnetic recording medium based on a plurality of kinds of recording modes in which track pitches are different from each other, and the track pitches of the recording tracks formed on the taped-shaped magnetic recording medium are varied depending on the kinds of the recording modes and at the same time a pattern of a signal-for-erasion supplied to a rotary type erasing head with wider width in the direction perpendicularly crossing a tracing direction of the head than that of a rotary type magnetic head is varied depending on the kinds of the recording modes, so that the undesirable influence of the signal-for-erasion over the recording of the information signals is reduced and at the same time power consumption is also reduced.

    摘要： A sorter for sorting copy sheets which are produced by a copying machine from an original document includes a plurality of trays which are vertically arranged in multiple stages at predetermined intervals and an indexer for selecting a tray from the plurality of trays to which an individual copy sheet is to be conveyed. The indexer includes a first roller which changes a direction of conveyance of the copy sheets, and the first roller curves the copy sheets upward so that ends of the upwardly curved copy sheets curve downwardly with respect to a bottom surface of the trays, thereby increasing the number of copy sheets which can be stacked in the trays and preventing the occurrence of paper jams.

Each header has an end face providing an opening to the header interior and a closed end face, both of which extend obliquely from the tube sheet to join at an apex and which are symmetrically arranged with respect to each other. Such a construction enables the flow of fluid passing through each heat exchange unit to be uniform across the width of the heat exchange unit.

    摘要： A method and machine for machining the surface of a valve seat (3) which is required to have a very accurate alignment with respect to a guide bore of a valve guide (2).In order to be capable of machining the valve seat surface in high roundness while maintaining a high concentricity with the guide bore, a pilot member (4) is moved forward inclinably to catch a guide bore of a valve guide (2) at its front end; the pilot member is further moved forward bendably while following the guide bore; when the pilot member has reached the desired position, the posture of the pilot member in the position is firmly held; and the surface of the valve seat (3) is machined by moving edged tool members (5a) forwardly while rotating the edged tool members (5a) which are arranged coaxially with the pilot member. A machine for practicing the method includes a forwardly and backwardly movable spindle (8), a pilot member (4) bendable at (7) with respect to the spindle, a bearing member (15) for the pilot member provided alignably with respect to the pilot member, an arrangement (17) for holding the bearing member coaxially with the pilot member, and edged tool members (5a) arranged to be rotatable coaxially with the pilot member and movable forwardly and backwardly together with the pilot member.

    摘要： A connection apparatus mainly comprises a gas-tight container one surface of which is made of a film, a gas supply source for filling the container with a gas at a predetermined pressure, and a heat source. Two substrates, at least one of which is flexible, are tightly supported on the film surface of the container in such a manner that electrodes or terminals formed on the both substrates confront with each other. The gas pressure in the container is increased to the predetermined value, thereby to tightly contact the electrodes formed on the both substrates with each other. Thereafter, the heat source is enabled to melt the electrodes and to electrically connect the two substrates with each other.
