    摘要: Substrate probe capable of detecting enzyme activity with high accuracy and a method for detecting the enzyme activity by a multi nuclear magnetic resonance method using the substrate probe. Multi-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance is performed by using a substrate probe, which is used for measuring enzyme activity by a multi-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance method and characterized by containing a enzyme recognition site that is selectively recognized by an active-state enzyme, as at least one constitutional unit, and a group to which at least three nuclear magnetic resonance active nuclei each having a nuclear spin and a different resonance frequency are connected, being present specifically to the enzyme recognition, thereby detecting presence of the substrate probe and the enzyme activity. Alternatively, imaging of the enzyme activity is performed by a multi-dimensional nuclear resonance imaging method.

    摘要: Stored DC power is supplied to a load after a return to a normal-power mode or a power-up of an image forming device. An auxiliary power supply does not supply the stored DC power to the load, and a main power supply supplies AC and DC power to the load if it is determined that a predetermined processing is performed upon a starting of the image forming device. The auxiliary power supply supplies the stored DC power to the load, it is determined whether a predetermined time has elapsed, and the main power supply does not supply the AC and DC power to the load if it is determined that the predetermined processing is not performed upon the starting of the image forming device. A decision whether the predetermined processing is performed is based on at least one of a number of sheets, an elapsed time, and an environmental temperature.

    摘要: A transmitter for use in digital radio communications systems includes: a bit corrector controls bit arrangement in such a manner that a code having high significance, out of multiple codes obtained by coding, is allocated with high priority to a bit having a tendency that the likelihood enlarges at the time of symbol decision on a receiver; a multi-level modulator allocates the code to the multiple bits in accordance with a predetermined symbol arrangement; and a symbol arrangement controller controls the symbol arrangement from equal distance arrangement to another arrangement in accordance with a ratio of the codes different in significance. To control symbol arrangement increases the effect of bit correction and improves an error rate on the receiver.

    摘要: Disclosed is a transmission device in a communication system in which a systematic code obtained by systematic encoding of information bits into which dummy bits are inserted and by deleting the dummy bits from the results of the systematic encoding is transmitted and, on the receiving side, the dummy bits which had been deleted on the transmitting side are inserted into the received systematic code, and then decoding is performed. In this transmission device, a dummy bit insertion portion decides the size of the dummy bits to be inserted into the information bits based on a specified code rate or based on the physical channel transmission rate, and uniformly inserts dummy bits of this size into the information bits; a systematic code generation portion performs systematic encoding of the information bits into which the dummy bits are inserted, and deletes the dummy bits from the results of the systematic encoding to generate a systematic code, which is transmitted.
