Abstract:
A reflection type mask usable to print a pattern upon a semiconductor wafer by use of soft X-rays or otherwise is disclosed. A reflective surface is formed by a multilayered film which is formed on a substrate by layering different materials having different refractive indices in consideration of Bragg diffraction and Fresnel reflection. A non-reflective portion is formed on the reflecting surface to provide a desired pattern. Alternatively, a pattern comprising a multilayered structure may be formed upon a non-reflective substrate. The mask of the present invention assures pattern printing of high contrast.
Abstract:
This invention concerns an image processing system whichis constructed by combining a plurality of image readers for electrically reading an image and producing corresponding image data and printing means provided with sorting means for sorting and stowing sheets carrying formed images into a plurality of discharge paper bins and adapted to form an image on sheets based on said image data received from said image readers. In accordance with this image processing system, the operator is enabled to associate a given sheet bearing an image formed in accordance with an image signal read out by any of the image readers with the particular image reader which has produced the image signal as the source of the image on the sheet. The image processing system, therefore, enhances the efficiency of the operator's work in a great measure.
Abstract:
An electric component part has its lead terminals bent in thickness directions in a middle section thereof at least two positions so that a step section virtually in parallel to the bottom of a circuit substrate is formed with the intention of absorbing the external force applied to the part by chaging the shape of the lead terminals. Increase in the part layout area due to the formation of the horizontal step section can be avoided, when necessary, by shifting the terminal lead out position on the component part inward thereby to minimize the jetty dimensions.
Abstract:
A roll forming apparatus has an elevatable base that is moved up and down by an elevating mechanism. Carriages are movably mounted on the base on both sides of a forming pass line. Each carriage carries several side rolls that are disposed along the forming pass line. A pair of side roll position adjusting mechanisms are coupled to each carriage. The pair of side roll position adjusting mechanisms move a carriage back and forth to form the desired forming pass. An elevating mechanism is provided to move up and down the base so that the level and inclination of the forming pass line is set as desired.
Abstract:
A compound molding, suitable for use on automotive vehicle bodies, comprises a surface layer portion made of a hard resin, an intermediate layer made of a resin, a central metal portion, and a protective portion made of a soft vinyl chloride resin at least at one edge portion of the molding where the molding contacts the vehicle body or window glass.
Abstract:
A retainer assembly for and method of securing a molding strip to an exterior automobile panel which includes a body engaged with the molding strip and having a surface which confronts the automobile panel. A double surface adhesive sheet is on part of the body surface and a liquid bonding agent on another part. The adhesive sheet holds the molding strip on the automobile panel while the liquid bonding agent solidifies. Thereafter, both the adhesive sheet and the bonding agent hold the molding strip in place.
Abstract:
A fungicidal composition useful in agriculture and horticulture comprising as effective components 4-methylsulfonyl-oxyphenyl-N-methylthiolcarbamate and 3-hydroxy-5-methylisoxazol. These effective components are generally mixed with at least one adjuvant when practically applied. A method for controlling soil borne plant diseases is also described using the fungicidal composition.
Abstract:
A microfiche reader includes an automatic motor driven retriever mechanism and a manual retriever mechanism. The manual retriever includes a guide having a transverse slot, a lever handle having a longitudinal slot and a pivot member slideable along the slots and supporting the lever for swinging between retracted and extended positions. A film carrier carriage is moveable along orthogonally related directions and is releasably couplable to the lever when the carriage is in a retracted rest position, the lever being locked to the carriage when the carriage is displaced from its rest position. The lever is locked in an inoperative condition when retracted and with the carriage displaced from rest position. A mechanism is provided for uncoupling the motors from the carriage or the carriages are coupled to the motors by slip transmissions or a switch is provided for deenergizing the automatic retriever mechanisms when the manual lever is in an operative position.
Abstract:
An error correction and detection system is capable of detecting a miscorrection caused by a triple bit error by using SEC-DED code and is adapted to correct a single bit error and detect a double bit error. When the single bit error is detected from the SEC-DED code read out from a memory, the code is subjected to a retrial process after correction of the error, wherein the corrected SEC-DED code is rewritten in the memory after inversion of the polarity thereof and is read out therefrom. The code read out from the memory undergoes again an error checking process after inversion of the polarity thereof. Repeated detection of an error indicates that the first correction was a miscorrection as caused by the triple bit error.
Abstract:
New phenyl thiol carbanilide derivatives of the present invention are represented by the formula ##STR1## where X represents a lower alkylsulfonyl, a lower alkoxycarbonyl, a N-lower alkylcarbamoyl, a lower alkylcarbonyl or an O,O-dilower alkyl thiophosphonyl, Y represents hydrogen, chlorine, bromine or a lower alkyl, Z represents hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, a lower alkyl, a lower alkoxy or trifluoromethyl and m represents 1 or 2. The compounds have excellent fungicidal activity against fungi which cause diseases of plants.
