    摘要： Compounds of Formula I are disclosed which are useful as fungicides wherein R1 is hydrogen; halogen; C1-C2 alkoxy; C1-C2 haloalkoxy; cyano; or C1-C2 alkyl optionally substituted with halogen, C1-C2 alkoxy or cyano; R2 is hydrogen; halogen; or C1-C4 alkyl optionally substituted with halogen, C1-C2 alkoxy or cyano; R3 is hydrogen; halogen; C1-C4 alkoxy; C1-C4 haloalkoxy; or C1-C4 alkyl optionally substituted with halogen, C1-C2 alkoxy or cyano; or R2 and R3 can be taken together as —CH2CH2—; R4 is C1-C2 alkyl; R5 is R6, CH(R8)OR6, CH(R8)CH(R7)R6 or C(R8)═C(R7)R6; and R6, R7 and R8 are as defined in the disclosure. Also disclosed are compositions containing the compounds of Formula I and a method for controlling plant diseases caused by fungal plant pathogens which involves applying an effective amount of a compound of Formula I.

    摘要： A mild, aqueous antimicrobial cleansing composition is disclosed which contains little or no volatile alcohol and does not leave a sticky residue during drying. The composition may be used alone or in combination with shampoos, lotions, body cleansers, and the like. In another embodiment, impregnating a water insoluble substrate with the inventive composition provides a disposable wipe. The process of making and using the inventive wipe is also described.

    摘要： The present invention relates to a method for the prevention of growth of algae by incorporating within liquids or coating on surfaces certain substituted amino alcohols. More precisely, this invention provides for algistat end uses for amino alcohol compounds endowed with chain extension which have the general formula: ##STR1## wherein n is 1-1000; and R.sub.1 =R.sub.2, and R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are from the croup consisting of --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --; --CH.sub.2 --C(CH.sub.3)H--; and --C(CH.sub.3)H--CH.sub.2 --; R.sub.3, and R.sub.4 are each independently selected from the group consisting of H, --CH.sub.3, --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.3, --CH.sub.2 OH, and --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --OH; and the diasteromeric salts thereof.
