    摘要: An injection device (100), including a base (104), a sliding body (116) slidably connected to the base (104), a double-ended needle (120) fixed to the sliding body (116), a biasing member (124) for proximally biasing the sliding body (116) with respect to the base (104), and for retracting the needle (120) into the device (100) subsequent to activation of the device (100), a medicament cartridge (128) for holding a medicament, slidably connected to the sliding body (116), and a stopper (132) slidably disposed within the medicament cartridge (128). The base (104) has a proximal end (108) and a surface (164) disposed at a distal end (112) thereof for contacting a patient's skin. The base (104) also has a first locking mechanism. The sliding body (116) has a locking feature and a second locking mechanism. The second locking mechanism locks the medicament cartridge (128) relative to the sliding body (116) upon completion of displacement of the medicament cartridge (128) relative to the sliding body,(116). The first locking mechanism and the locking feature interact to lock the sliding member (116) relative to the base subsequent to retraction of the needle (120) into the device (100).

The dosing assembly is selectively inhibited by a control system that limits the displacement of the dosing assembly and plunger within the case. The device also has a customizable dispensing assembly coupled to the upper portion and configured to receive medicament from the cartridge upon application of force from the plunger.

    摘要: A reloadable medicine injector and methods are described in which a barrel with a receiving cavity is adapted to slidably receive a syringe subassembly for axial movement therein. Upon removal of a safety and release of a syringe driver, the syringe driver moves forward and injects the syringe needle. A plurality of penetration controls are shown for controlling injection needle penetration depth. The penetration controls have an abutment and various lengths to provide different needle penetration depth positions. In one form of penetration control a sleeve is used against which the syringe or related parts contact. In another form the front return spring is used as a penetration control. A cushioning ring may be used to reduce syringe breakage. A load distribution and guide ring may be used to distribute loading applied to the syringe and help guide the moving syringe.

    摘要: An injection device includes a generally tubular outer body and a medicament cartridge assembly carried within the outer body. The cartridge assembly includes a glass container, a charge of medicament disposed within the glass container, iii) a plunger member rearwardly confining the medicament, and iv) a seal for sealing the forward portion of the glass container. A needle has a rearward end disposed proximate the seal, with the seal and needle being movable with respect to one another. A rigid needle cover member is normally maintained in an inoperative position and is movable relative to said body to a protective position wherein the needle cover member extends forwardly to cover the forward end of the needle. A releasable spring is releasable in response to a predetermined actuating procedure to drive a collet member forwardly within the outer body and thereby enable i) the cartridge assembly to move relative to the needle so that the rearward end of the needle pierces the seal to establish communication with the medicament, ii) the needle to move with respect to the body so that the needle projects outwardly from the forward end of the body, and iii) the needle cover to move relative to the body from the inoperative position to the protective position so that the needle cover member extends beyond the forward end of the needle.
