摘要: SEWAGE AND OTHER CHEMICALLY IMPURE WATERS ARE MADE CLEANER BY A PROCESS WHICH INVOLVES THE REMOVAL OR EXTRACTION FROM THE WATER OF VARIOUS CONTAIMINANTS BY THE CONTROLLED GROWTH OF SELECTED MICROORGANISMS USING THE SEWAGE OR OTHER IMPURE WATER AS THE BASIC GROWTH SUBSTRATE. THE MICROORGANISMS (BOTH AS THE INOCULANT AND AS THE GROWTH PRODUCT) ARE ISOLATED FROM THE SEWAGE OR OTHER CONTAMINATED WATER BY MEANS OF A POROUS MEMBRANE OR BARRIER OR RESTRICTED PORE SIZE (E.G. 0.8-2 MICRONS). THESE PORES ARE LARGE ENOUGH TO PERMIT MOLECULES OF THE CONTAMINANTS TO PASS THROUGH OR PENETRATE THE POROUS BARRIER TO THEREBY CONTACT ANDBE ACTED UPON OR ASSIMILATED BY THE MICROORGANISMS. THESE PORES ARE SMALL ENOUGH TO PREVENT THE LARGE SCALE ESCAPE OR MASS MIGRATION OF THE MICROORGANISM THROUGH THE MEMBRANE INTO THE CONTAMINATED WATER. AS A RESULT OF THE PROCESS, ONE OR MORE CONTAMINANTS IN THE WASTE WATER ARE CONSUMED IN THE MICROBIAL METABOLISM OR GROWTH PROCESS, THEREBY MAKING THE WATER CLEANER.

摘要: A method for treating wastewater containing fluorine is disclosed. The method for treating wastewater includes applying a vacuum to a membrane unit including a membrane having a hollow, injecting wastewater into the membrane unit so that the wastewater contacts an outer surface of the membrane, recovering hydrofluoric acid gas by evaporating hydrofluoric acid (HF) in the wastewater based on a vacuum applied to the inner surface of the membrane and moving the evaporated hydrofluoric acid (HF) to the inner surface through the membrane, injecting sweep gas into the membrane unit to discharge hydrofluoric acid gas remaining on the inner surface of the membrane, and forming a metal fluoride by reacting the recovered hydrofluoric acid gas with a metal oxide or metal hydroxide using a scrubbing process.

摘要: A process for the preparation of grape seed extracts from selected unfermented marc, the process comprising steps of grape seed selection, sieving, dehydration, extraction in aqueous solvent, tangential micro-, ultra- and nanofiltration through membranes and spray-drying.
The extracts thus obtained have an analytical profile of active substances useful for preventing the risk of ophthalmological diseases and for controlling the early stages of viral infections of the upper respiratory tract.-

摘要: A system and method for producing very high concentration brine streams from which commercially efficiently obtained minerals may be obtained is produced by a dual membrane brine concentrator system (DTRI Concentrator). The system includes a nano-filtration system which removes divalent ions from the seawater, a brine concentrator such as a hollow fine fiber forward osmosis system which receives and further concentrates the brine rejected from the nano-filtration system, a SWRO system which receives the NF system permeate and removes monovalent ions, and another brine concentrator which further concentrates the brine rejected from SWRO system. Various permeate and reject brine flow may be forwarded through the Dual Membrane Brine Concentrator system, and multiple stages of the system components may be used, to enhance brine concentration and improve system efficiency.

摘要: Disclosed are plant protein compositions prepared from hemp plant material. Hemp seeds are deconstructed and separated into heavy protein-rich fractions and light oil-rich fractions. The deconstruction processes avoid the use of organic solvents and temperatures above 60° C. The separated fractions are then selectively processed to produce selected plant protein containing compositions comprising from about 30% (w/w) to about 95% hemp protein, from about 5% (w/w) and to about 60% (w/w) plant oil. The plant protein compositions from hemp plants are suitable for use as ingredients in nutritional formulations.

摘要: The invention is about a stabilized electromagnetic base liquid, as well as its preparation method and its application in the high-salt wastewater treatment. The raw material components of the electromagnetic base fluid include: 20-30 parts of alkali metal hydroxides(e.g., as sodium hydroxide); 20-30 parts of non-alkali metal (e.g., as silicon or phosphorus); 2-6 parts of ammonia; 31-140 parts of water; after treatment with a direct electrical current the parameters of the stabilized electromagnetic base liquid are: pH value: 12 to 14; oxidation reduction potential value: −1.0 to −1.8 v; with no corrosivity, confirming the presence of stabilized hydrated electrons (eaq−−). With the stabilized electromagnetic base liquid, the storage problem of the electromagnetic base liquid is solved, and the large-scale application in the industrial field can be realized, thereby achieving a large-scale high-salt wastewater treatment process with low cost, high recovery rate.

摘要: Some embodiments provide a water filtration system that is fluidly coupled to a water feed line and/or a water supply line and is designed to filter contaminates from the water supply. The water filtration system includes an outer housing, a front cover, a rear cover, a pump, a reverse osmosis (RO) element, a pre-filter cartridge, a post-filter cartridge, a permeate flush tank, a RO manifold, and a sensor manifold. The water filtration system further includes a pump and at least one solenoid. When assembled, a RO housing, a pre-filter housing, and a post-filter housing surround the RO element, the pre-filter cartridge, and the post-filter cartridge, respectively. The filter cartridges hold replaceable filtration media in an interior cavity and contaminants and other impurities are removed as water flows through the filtration media of the filter cartridges.
