摘要: A power conditioning system that includes a fuel cell to be connected to a load, a fuel cell converter connected between the fuel cell and the load, the fuel cell converter converting an output voltage of the fuel cell at a predetermined required voltage ratio, a battery connected in parallel with the fuel cell with respect to the load, the battery serving as a power supply source different from the fuel cell, a battery converter connected between the battery and the load, the battery converter converting an output voltage of the battery at a predetermined required voltage ratio. The power conditioning system includes a converter direct coupling unit configured to directly couple an input side and an output side of the fuel cell converter during startup of the power conditioning system and a fuel cell output voltage increasing unit configured to increase the output voltage of the fuel cell to a predetermined voltage by supplying oxidant gas during startup of the fuel cell.

摘要: A drive system includes a drive device including an electric power generator; a fuel cell; a secondary battery; a fuel cell step-up converter including a diode; a relay connected to wiring between the fuel cell step-up converter and the drive device; a secondary battery step-up converter connected; a fuel cell voltage sensor; a secondary battery voltage sensor; and a controller. The controller stops the secondary battery step-up converter when a short-circuit fault of the diode is detected, disconnects the relay when a voltage of the fuel cell is higher than a voltage of the secondary battery after stopping the secondary battery step-up converter, and when the voltage of the secondary battery is higher than or equal to the voltage of the fuel cell, executes a voltage control process which increases the voltage of the fuel cell relative to the voltage of the secondary battery, and disconnects the relay.

摘要: A fuel cell system includes an air compressor that supplies oxidant gas to a fuel cell installed in a fuel cell vehicle, a measured rotational speed acquirer that acquires a measured value of rotational speed of the air compressor, and a controller that calculates a rotational speed command value of the air compressor based on required generated power of the fuel cell, calculates a torque command value of the air compressor based on the calculated rotational speed command value and current rotational speed of the air compressor, and controls rotational speed of the air compressor based on the calculated torque command value. The controller estimates the current rotational speed of the air compressor baaed on the measured value of the rotational speed acquired by the measured rotational speed acquirer and a history of the calculated torque command value, and calculates the torque command value by using the estimated rotational speed.

摘要: The performance of a fuel cell power plant that decays, in an electric vehicle which makes frequent starts, is recovered by partially shutting down the power plant. Recovery is enabled by a recovery enable flag upon conditions such as vehicle using low or no power, vehicle speed at or near zero, electric storage SOC above a threshold, and no recovery during the last half-hour (or other duration). The recovery restart resets a timer to ensure that recovery is not attempted too often. The power plant then remains in a recovery stand-by mode until a recovery restart flag is set to 1. The restart causes start-up of the fuel cell power plant, reaching an operational mode.

摘要: A fuel cell system includes: a power supply circuit including a fuel cell and a secondary battery; an oxidant gas supply flow passage; a pump; and a control unit configured to drive the pump and dilute hydrogen retained in an cathode. The control unit is configured to stop supplying an oxidant gas to the cathode by stopping an operation of the pump such that dilution of the hydrogen retained in the cathode is stopped, while the fuel cell vehicle remains stationary after a starter switch of the fuel cell vehicle is switched from an off state to an on state, or while a load required of the power supply circuit remains smaller than a predetermined value after the starter switch of the fuel cell vehicle is switched from the off state to the on state.

摘要: An apparatus includes a stack voltage monitor that measures a voltage of each channel of a plurality of channels of a fuel cell stack. Each of the channel of the plurality of channels includes a predetermined number of unit cells. The stack voltage monitor calculates impedance of each of the channel from the measured voltage. The apparatus further includes a controller that diagnoses a state of the fuel cell stack based on the impedance of each of the channel.

摘要: A safety apparatus for portable power generation of a fuel cell vehicle and an operation method thereof are provided. The safety apparatus includes a fuel cell that supplies power required for driving a motor of the fuel cell vehicle and a battery used as an auxiliary power source of the fuel cell. A bidirectional power converter adjusts input power and output power of the battery. A connection port connects to a portable power generator positioned extraneous to the fuel cell vehicle and a relay is connected to the connection port to adjust supplying of power to the portable power generator. A fuel cell controller determines whether a vehicle state satisfies a portable power generation mode entering condition when start-up of the fuel cell vehicle is turned on and operates the relay based on a confirmation result to perform portable power generation.
