Abstract: A material for stainless steel cold rolling suitable for producing a cold-rolled stainless steel sheet that has sufficient corrosion resistance and ridging resistance as well as excellent formability and surface properties is provided. The material for stainless steel cold rolling according to the present invention contains, in terms of % by mass, C: 0.007% to 0.05%, Si: 0.02% to 0.50%, Mn: 0.05% to 1.0%, P: 0.04% or less, S: 0.01% or less, Cr: 15.5% to 18.0%, Al: 0.001% to 0.10%, N: 0.01% to 0.06%, and the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities, wherein the material has a microstructure that includes 10% to 60% of a martensite phase in terms of area fraction, with the remainder being a ferrite phase, and the martensite phase has a hardness of HV500 or less.

Abstract: The present invention provides a high-strength steel sheet excellent in shape fixability. The high-strength steel sheet contains C, Si, Mn, P, S, Al, N, and O with predetermined contents, in which a retained austenite phase of 5 to 20% in volume fraction is contained, an amount of solid-solution C contained in the retained austenite phase is 0.80 to 1.00% in mass %, WSiγ is 1.10 times or more WSi*, WMnγ is 1.10 times or more WMn*, and when a frequency distribution is measured with respect to a sum of a ratio between WSi and WSi* and a ratio between WAl and WAl*, a mode value of the frequency distribution is 1.95 to 2.05, and a kurtosis is 2.00 or more.

A volume fraction of ferrite in a decarburized ferrite layer (12) included in the plated steel sheet (1) is 120% or more of the volume fraction of the ferrite in the base material (13) at the ¼ sheet thickness position, an average grain diameter of the ferrite in the decarburized ferrite layer (12) is 20 μm or less, a thickness of the decarburized ferrite layer (12) is 5 μm to 200 μm, a volume fraction of tempered martensite in the decarburized ferrite layer (12) is 1.0 volume % or more, a number density of the tempered martensite in the decarburized ferrite layer (12) is 0.01/μm2 or more, and an average hardness of the tempered martensite in the decarburized ferrite layer (12) is 8 GPa or less.

Abstract: A steel having a composition containing C: more than 0.20% and 0.45% or less, Si: 0.50% to 2.50%, Mn: 2.00% or more and less than 3.50%, and one or two selected from Ti: 0.005% to 0.100% and Nb: 0.005% to 0.100% is hot-rolled and cold-rolled. The steel sheet is heated to 800° C. to 950° C. and cooled to a cooling-end temperature of 350° C. to 500° C. at a cooling rate of 5° C./s or more to form a steel sheet having a microstructure including martensite and bainite phases such that the total proportion of the martensite and bainite phases is 80% or more by volume. The steel sheet is heated to 700° C. to 840° C. and maintained at 700° C. to 840° C., cooled to a cooling-end temperature of 350° C. to 500° C. at a cooling rate of 5 to 50° C./s, and maintained within the above temperature range for 10 to 1800 s.
