摘要: There are provided a heat exchange apparatus and an air conditioner in which an occurrence of uneven refrigerant distribution of a heat exchanger is reduced such that heat exchange performance improves. The heat exchange apparatus includes: a heat-transfer pipe through which a refrigerant flows; a heat exchanger in which a plurality of the heat-transfer pipes are connected to one another; a distributor that distributes the refrigerant to the plurality of heat-transfer pipes; an inflow pipe that causes the refrigerant to flow into the distributor; and a confluent pipe which is connected to an intermediate position of the inflow pipe and in which the refrigerant flowing through an inside thereof is to merge with the refrigerant flowing through an inside of the inflow pipe. A merging part between the inflow pipe and the confluent pipe is positioned in the vicinity of the distributor.

The diverter case has a plurality of diverting channels disposed along a circumferential direction, a diverting space arranged to guide the refrigerant to the diverting channels, and a plurality of expelling spaces that communicate with the diverting space through the diverting channels, the expelling spaces being disposed along a vertical direction. The diverting channels are configured from a plurality of holes extending in a longitudinal direction of the rod member and integrally formed in the rod member.

摘要: An evaporator includes an inlet manifold, an outlet parallel to the inlet manifold, and a collection manifold parallel and adjacent to the outlet manifold. First flow conduits extend from the inlet manifold to the collection manifold, and at least one second flow conduit extends from the collection manifold to the outlet manifold. The evaporator can be housed within an enclosure to provide a cased evaporator. Air is conditioned by transferring heat from the air to refrigerant as the air passes through the evaporator. The refrigerant is received from outside the enclosure into the inlet manifold, and is directed through first and second refrigerant passes to receive heat from the air. The flow of refrigerant is received from the second pass into a collection manifold, is transferred to an outlet manifold, and is removed from the enclosure.

摘要: An air conditioner and a heat exchanger therefor are provided. The heat exchanger may include a shell; an injection pipe to guide a heat source fluid to an inside of the shell; a first refrigerant tube formed with a first spiral tube; a second refrigerant tube formed with a second spiral tube having a radius larger than a radius of the first spiral tube; and a discharge pipe to which the heat source fluid heat-exchanged with a refrigerant is discharged. The first refrigerant tube and the second refrigerant tube may be connected in parallel, and the second spiral tube may have a larger pitch between turns and a smaller number of turns than the first spiral tube. The heat exchanger may provide a simple structure and a high heat-exchange performance.

摘要: A refrigerated transportation cargo container includes a container and a refrigeration unit to provide a flow of refrigerated supply air for the container. The refrigeration unit has refrigerant flowing there through and includes a compressor and an engine (36) powered by a flow of fuel and driving the compressor. A regeneration heat exchanger (50) gasifies the fuel prior to the fuel entering the engine via a thermal energy exchange with the refrigerant flowing through the regeneration heat exchanger. A method of operating a refrigeration unit includes connecting an engine to a compressor and enabling a flow of refrigerant through the refrigeration unit. The refrigerant is directed through a regeneration heat exchanger as a flow of liquid fuel. The fuel is gasified at the regeneration heat exchanger via a thermal energy exchange with the refrigerant. The gasified fuel is directed to the engine to power the engine.
