    摘要: This disclosure describes techniques for generating relatively low regulated power supply voltages over a relatively wide range of input voltages. The techniques for generating the regulated voltages may include using at least two different pass transistors to regulate an output voltage of a voltage regulator. Both the turn-on threshold voltage and the maximum drain-to-source voltage rating of the first pass transistor may be greater than the corresponding characteristics of the second pass transistor. Using two different pass transistors with two different turn-on threshold voltages and two different maximum drain-to-source voltage ratings may increase the range of voltages over which a voltage regulator can generate a relatively low output voltage relative to the range of voltages that would be allowable if a single type of pass transistor were used.

The fifth transistor has connected base and collector, which base is connected to a base of the third transistor, the second transistor has a base connected to a node between third and fourth transistors, fourth and sixth transistors have bases connected to a first node between first and second resistors or a second node between second transistor and first resistor, a potential at the first or second node is the reference voltage, and a gain is determined depending on a resistance of the first resistor.

The converting module includes a switching module and a control module. The switching module has a plurality of switches, and each of the plurality of switches converts an input voltage into a first voltage and outputs the first voltage while being turned on/off in response to a corresponding pulse width modulation (PWM) signal. The control module controls a switching operation of the switching module by generating the PWM signal. The sensing unit senses driving current supplied to a load to which the first voltage is provided.

    摘要: A current-starved inverter circuit includes first and second current-mirror circuits, first and second transistors, a detector, and a current-booster. The first and second transistors receive a first source current and a first sink current from the first and second current-mirror circuits, respectively, and an input voltage signal, and generate an inverted input voltage signal (an output voltage signal). The detector generates a first detection signal when the output voltage signal exceeds a first threshold value and a second detection signal when the output voltage signal is less than a second threshold value. The current-booster, which is connected to the detector, receives the first and second detection signals and provides a second source current and a second sink current to the first and second transistors to pull-up and pull-down a voltage level of the output voltage signal, respectively.
