Abstract: Charging system for electric vehicles including a backend system and a charging station. The charging station includes a charging control module to control a charging process between a charging point of the charging station and an electric vehicle connectable to the charging point at least based on a configuration data set comprising a charging configuration parameter. The backend system includes a multiplex module connectable to a configuration memory module. The configuration memory module stores a plurality of time dependent configuration data sets. The multiplex module determines a time dependent configuration data set upon receipt of a configuration request message emitted by the charging station based on a time specification of the configuration request message. The multiplexing module is configured to cause a transmitting of the determined configuration data set to the charging station. The charging control module configured to control the charging process based on the received configuration data set.

Abstract: Augmented reality, computer vision, and digital ticketing system techniques are described that employ a location determination system. In one example, the location determination system is configured to receiving at least one digital image as part of a live camera feed, identify an object included in the at least one digital image using object recognition, determine a location of the object in relation to a digital map of a physical environment, generate augmented reality digital content indicating the determined location in relation to the digital map, and render the augmented reality digital content as part of the live camera feed for display by a display device.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that determine whether wait times for attractions of a theme park are shorter or longer than expected and notify guests of these shorter or longer wait times. In particular, the systems and methods determine a wait time value for an attraction by dividing a wait time for the attraction by a total wait time for all attractions of the theme park, and compare the wait time value to one or more threshold values based on an expected wait time for the attraction. In this manner, theme park guests may make a more informed decision on which attraction to wait for, and maximize their time at the theme park.

Abstract: A technique is described herein for capturing signals that indicate when any calling BOT delegates control to a called BOT, or when a calling BOT is preconfigured to contact a called BOT (e.g., as conveyed by a manifest file associated with the calling BOT). The technique can leverage these signals to facilitate the selection of BOTs. Abstract: A server manages power adjustment resources electrically connected to a power network. The power adjustment resources include power equipment installed in a facility and configured to supply power from a vehicle to the power network and charge power from the power network to the vehicle. When reservation information for using the facility is received from a user, the server predicts a power supply-demand balance in the power network on a reserved date and time of use of the facility. When a DR for adjusting the power supply-demand balance is predicted to be performed on the reserved date and time of use, the server prepares a use plan for the facility so as to include the vehicle participating in the DR using the power equipment. The server gives an incentive to the user when the user accepts the use plan.

Abstract: An autonomous vehicle receives geographic location data defined via a mobile computing device operated by a user. The geographic location data is indicative of a device position of the mobile computing device. The autonomous vehicle also receives image data generated by the mobile computing device. The image data is indicative of a surrounding position nearby the device position. The surrounding position is selected from an image captured by a camera of the mobile computing device. A requested vehicle position (e.g., a pick-up or drop-off location) is set for a trip of the user in the autonomous vehicle based on the geographic location data and the image data. A route from a current vehicle position of the autonomous vehicle to the requested vehicle position for the trip of the user in the autonomous vehicle is generated. Moreover, the autonomous vehicle can follow the route to the requested vehicle position.
