摘要: A power tool may include a compartment in its housing and a first printed circuit board (PCB) located in the housing and electrically coupled to a first connector. An insertable wireless communication device may include a second electronic processor and an antenna that are each mounted to a second PCB. The insertable wireless communication device may be configured to be received in the compartment and may include a second connector configured to electrically and physically couple to the first connector. The insertable wireless communication device may be configured to wirelessly communicate with an external device. When the insertable wireless communication device is inserted into the compartment, a first conductive layer of the first PCB may be configured to be electrically coupled to the antenna via the first connector and the second connector such that the first conductive layer of the first PCB serves as a ground plane of the antenna.

摘要: A field installable connector that conforms to standard physical requirements while providing high performance at high speeds. The connector includes a housing holding conductive elements configured for pressure mount to a printed circuit board. The housing has a mating surface, a mounting surface opposite the mating surface in a vertical direction, and a slot extending through the mating surface. Each conductive element has a mating end curving into the slot, and a mounting end extending out of the mounting surface at an angle to the vertical direction. The mounting end has a contact surface configured to make contact with a contact pad on the board. The housing includes holes aligned with holes of the board such that a connecting member can extend through the aligned holes to secure the housing to the board and provide force for sufficient contact between conductive elements and respective contact pads.

摘要: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing retaining a plurality of contacts therein and surrounded by a metallic seat. A clip includes a frame with corresponding four walls to commonly form a receiving cavity to receive the electronic package therein, and each wall forms a pressing section to downwardly press an upward surface of the electronic package. A pair of latches are formed on a lower side of the frame to cooperate with the pressing sections of the walls to retain electronic package within the receiving cavity to be wholly a sub-assembly for being commonly received within the electrical connector. The clip includes a releasing handle to actuate the corresponding latch, and the releasing handle is positioned in an opening of the seat and intimately above the printed circuit board to function as a foolproof mechanism for loading the electronic package in a right orientation.

摘要: An electrical connector includes a housing formed of a fixed housing and a movable housing movable relative to the fixed housing. The connector further includes a terminal. The terminal includes a connecting portion to be connected to the electrical circuit board and a contact portion to be contacted with the mating connecting member. The terminal further includes a fixed side held portion, a movable side held portion, and an elastic portion. The connecting structure further includes a regulating portion for regulating the elastic portion from elastically deforming within a specific elastic deformation range. The elastic portion is configured to have a specific elastic deformation range. When the electrical connector is connected to the mating connecting member, the spring force is smaller than a holding force between the contact portion of the terminal and the mating connecting member in a direction that the electrical connector is pulled out.

摘要: A computer system assembly that includes a substrate and a first board mounted on the substrate. A flexible cable is secured to the first board. The computer system assembly further includes a second board mounted on the substrate. The second board includes a FPC connector. The FPC connector includes a body having a channel extending through the body such that the flexible cable may be positioned in the channel and pulled entirely through the body of the FPC connector. The FPC connector further includes a latching mechanism that secures the flexible cable within the channel once the flexible cable is pulled through the FPC connector. The first board and the second board are moved closer together as the flex cable is pulled through the FPC connector before at least one of the first board and the second board is mounted on the substrate.
