摘要: Provided is a carbon dioxide recovery system that separates CO2 from a CO2-containing gas containing CO2 by an electrochemical reaction, and comprises an electrochemical cell comprising a working electrode containing a CO2 adsorbent, and a counter electrode. Application of a voltage between the working electrode and the counter electrode causes electrons to be supplied from the counter electrode to the working electrode, and enables the CO2 adsorbent to bind to CO2 as electrons are supplied. The CO2 adsorbent is a crystalline porous body, and has a molecular structure in which a functional group that exchanges electrons and binds to CO2 is regularly arranged.

摘要: In an anode side electrolytic domain (130), a radial flow is formed from an outer peripheral opening (131) to an inner side opening (141) of an anode side mesh electrode (140). Flows horizontal to the electrode surface of the anode side mesh electrode 140 are formed. Gases such as ozone generated from water electrolysis in the anode side electrolytic domain (130) are dissolved in raw water in the anode side electrolytic domain (130), and anode side electrolytic water is generated. Gas such as ozone that has been atomized by the anode side mesh electrode (140) comes into contact with the raw water, and high concentration anode side electrolytic water is generated. The anode side electrolytic water generated in the anode side electrolytic domain (130) flows in the inner side opening (141) of the anode side mesh electrode (140).

摘要: An electrochemical electrode comprising a tin-based catalyst, method of making, and method of use are provided. Catalyst particles are prepared which comprise tin deposits of about 0.1 nm to about 10 nm deposited onto carbon support. Preparing an ink comprising the catalyst particles and a binder enable an electrode to be prepared comprising the catalyst particles bound to an electrode substrate. The electrode may then be used in an apparatus and process to reduce carbon dioxide to products such as formate and formic acid at Faradaic Efficiencies up to 95 percent.

摘要: Various embodiments include an electrolysis cell with a housing with an anode and a gas diffusion electrode connected as cathode. The gas diffusion electrode has an electrolyte side and a gas side and separates the electrolyte space from a gas space for a reaction gas. There is a support body disposed in the gas space with a contact surface in contact with the gas diffusion electrode. The gas space comprises a first channel system and a second channel system. The first channel system and the second channel system run separately from one another and thus form two separate volumes of the gas space. The first channel system and the second channel system each have openings in the contact surface of the support body.
