    摘要: (Problem)To provide a high precision platform scale(Means to Solve the Problem)A platform scale for weighing an object to be weighed by supporting it by a plurality of load detection sections, wherein the load detection section comprises a load sensor 40 having a block body 42 for transmitting an applied load to a tuning fork vibrator 41 coupled to the block body 42 by reducing the load, a circuit board having fabricated thereon circuitry for converting a signal from the tuning fork vibrator into a digital signal and a sensor case 33 for accommodating the load sensor and the circuit board. The sensor case 33 is made by casting stainless material by a lost wax process and is directly coupled to parallel base frames 20 for maintaining the distance between the base frames. The sensor case has sufficient mechanical strength and also acts as a structural member for the base frames, thereby reducing the number of components and the height of a weighing table.

The load cell type weight measuring device converts an output of a Wheatstone bridge circuit formed of the respective strain gauges into a weight value to display. Two weight receptacles are attached to the strain member. It is arranged such that when a load is applied to one of the load receptacles, a strain at a portion of the strain member provided with the strain gauges becomes smaller than that when the load is applied to the other of the load receptacles.

    摘要: The invention comprises a force measuring system and an assembly procedure for the dynamic determination especially of axle loads, speed, as well as for assembly of force and acceleration sensors. The force measuring system can be laid permanently in the roadway. It is of modular assembly, consisting of the amplifier, sensor and terminal module. The sensor module consists of a hollow section, in which piezo-elements are fitted under elastic preload. The hollow section is designed so that it can be opened elastically by lateral clamping, to allow mechanically interconnected piezo-elements to be inserted simply. After releasing this clamping, the piezo-elements are under high elastic preload. The same design principle can also be applied generally to force pressure and acceleration sensors. The elastical clamping force, vital for perfect force transmission to the piezo-elements, is for assembly purposes easily overcome by a proper lateral clamping force.

    摘要: An occupant sensing apparatus for use in an occupant restraint system comprises a film having an electrical characteristic with changeable states and a contact member. When an occupant sits in a vehicle seat, the contact member pushes on the film and changes the state of the electrical characteristic. An electric circuit is connected to the film for providing a first signal when the film indicates an occupant is not present, a second signal when an occupant is present, and a third signal if the film and the circuit become disconnected. The occupant restraint system is enabled when either an occupant is present or an electrical fault condition occurs. In accordance with another embodiment of the invention, an array of sensors located in the seat determines the occupant's position and weight and controls deployment of the occupant restraint system in response to the determined position and weight.

    摘要: A load measuring device is incorporated in a damper or suspension strut of a vehicle. The device comprises an annular plate which is interposed between axially spaced opposite faces of a thrust bearing and an abutment for the adjacent end of the spring, and the plate is supported from the opposite faces at at least three angularly spaced locations of which a location on one side of the plate is disposed substantially at the mid-point in the circumferential length between a pair of locations on the opposite side of the plate. Bending moments in the plate are monitored by thick film technology to give a direct reading of load.
