Abstract: An airtight container has a lid which is easily opened by the principle of the lever thus preventing broth from splashing out when the lid is opened. The airtight container includes a container body having a latching bump and a bent flange, a rotating knob connected to the flange and having an opening-closing plate and a step portion, and a lid having a latching protrusion, a downwardly bent flange and a lid extension portion, wherein, when the rotating knob is just rotated upward in a state where the lid is coupled to the container body, the opening-closing plate lifts the lid extension portion by “the principle of the lever” while the step portion prevents the lid extension portion from spreading outwards, thereby allowing the latching protrusion to be released from the latching bump and the lid to be opened from the container body.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of measuring a free air ball size during a wire bonding process of a wire bonder, which comprises a position sensor and a bonding tool for forming an electrical connection between a semiconductor device and a substrate using a bonding wire. Specifically, the method comprises the steps of: forming a free air ball from a wire tail of the bonding wire; using the position sensor to determine a positional difference between a first and a second position of the bonding tool with respect to a reference position, wherein the first position of the bonding tool is a position of the bonding tool with respect to the reference position when the free air ball contacts a conductive surface; and measuring the free air ball size based on the positional difference of the bonding tool as determined by the position sensor. A wire bonder configured to perform such a method is also disclosed.

Such cellulose esters may be suitable for use in optical films, such as optical films having certain Nz values, −A optical films, and/or +C optical films. Optical films prepared employing such cellulose esters have a variety of commercial applications, such as, for example, as compensation films in liquid crystal displays and/or waveplates in creating circular polarized light used in 3-D technology.

Abstract: A block-request streaming system provides for improvements in the user experience and bandwidth efficiency of such systems, typically using an ingestion system that generates data in a form to be served by a conventional file server (HTTP, FTP, or the like), wherein the ingestion system intakes content and prepares it as files or data elements to be served by the file server. A client device can be adapted to take advantage of the ingestion process. The client device might be configured to optimize use of resources, given the information available to it from the ingestion system. This may include configurations to determine the sequence, timing and construction of block requests based on monitoring buffer size and rate of change of buffer size, use of variable sized requests, mapping of block requests to underlying transport connections, flexible pipelining of requests, and/or use of whole file requests based on statistical considerations.

Abstract: A capillary is utilized to form the wedge wire bond comprised in a wire interconnection. A wire holding device is located above a wire clamp and the capillary to secure the wire while the wire clamp is open and not clamping onto the wire. The wire clamp and the capillary may be lifted relative to the wire in a direction away from the wedge wire bond and towards the wire holding device so as to pay out a length of wire from the capillary. At a predetermined height of the capillary, the wire clamp is closed to clamp onto the wire, and thereafter, the capillary and wire clamp may be moved further away from the wedge wire bond to cause the wire to break away from the wedge wire bond and to form the wire tail with a desired length extending from the capillary.
