Abstract:
A display device includes a base structure, a plurality of modules coupled to the base structure, where each of the modules include a plurality of actuator assemblies. Each of the actuator assemblies is individually controllable to move the actuator assemblies between a retracted state and a plurality of extended states. A controller is coupled to each of the modules and is programmed to control the actuator assemblies to move the actuator assemblies between the retracted state and the plurality of extended states.
Abstract:
A beverage nozzle for mixing at least a first beverage ingredient and a second beverage ingredient into a homogeneous mixture is disclosed herein. The beverage nozzle may include a housing having a first portion and a second portion. A first inlet may be in fluid communication with the housing. The first inlet may be configured to provide the first beverage ingredient to the housing. A second inlet may be in fluid communication with the housing. The second inlet may be configured to provide the second beverage ingredient to the housing. The beverage nozzle also may include a mixing core disposed within the housing. The mixing core may be configured to mix the first beverage ingredient and the second beverage ingredient into the homogeneous mixture. An outlet may be disposed about the housing. The homogeneous mixture may exit the housing by way of the outlet.
Abstract:
The present application and the resultant patent provide a merchandiser. The merchandiser may include an ambient compartment with at least one ambient product therein, a temperature controlled compartment with at least one temperature controlled product therein, and a rotary internal transport system within the temperature controlled compartment so as to dispense a temperature controlled product in response to an ambient product being placed therein.
Abstract:
A bow label for a beverage container is disclosed herein. The bow label may include a first sheet at least partially attached to the beverage container. The bow label also may include a second sheet at least partially attached to the first sheet. The first sheet and the second sheet may include a first configuration and a second configuration. In addition, the bow label may include a pull cord disposed between and at least partially attached to the first sheet and the second sheet. In this manner, movement of the pull cord may move the first sheet and the second sheet between the first configuration and the second configuration. In some instances, the second configuration may include a bow-like shape.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention can include systems and methods for dispensing consumable products. One embodiment of the invention can provide a product dispenser. The product dispenser can include a controller configured to communicate with a data processing resource, determine that a recipe database update for a recipe of at least one beverage is available at the data processing resource, receive the recipe database update from the data processing resource, and update the recipe of the at least one beverage in a recipe database associated with the product dispenser, wherein an updated recipe comprises an ingredient identifier and an ingredient ratio for an ingredient associated with the ingredient identifier.
Abstract:
The present application provides a merchandiser. The merchandiser may include a temperature controlled compartment, a product input system adjacent to the temperature controlled compartment, and a multi-chute product dispensing mechanism positioned within the temperature controlled compartment. The multi-chute product dispensing system may include a number of product chutes in communication with a dispense activation mechanism.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system and method of selling goods or services, or collecting recycle refuse using mechanized mobile merchantry, comprising positioning, by self-propelling, at least one of a mechanized mobile merchantry within a geographical boundary, allowing interaction with consumers, and effectuating selling of goods or services, or collection of recycle refuse with consumers. Other exemplary embodiments can include signaling a mechanized mobile merchantry with a consumer's mobile device to direct the merchantry to self-propel to the consumer's location, and utilizing usage logs and algorithms to optimize functionality of a fleet of merchantry and reposition the merchantry, as necessary, within a geographical boundary, to increase sales and consumer convenience. The present invention also relates to a waste collection system with option to deliver new food and beverage items includes a customer service robot comprising a slave computer and one or more waste receptacles to collect waste material. The customer service robot includes at least one robotic arm having at least three degrees of motion to facilitate collection from, e.g., tables and the like. The customer service robot is also capable of interfacing with a recycling unit and a master computer to control disposal of the collected waste.
Abstract:
Preventing the reuse of cartridges in a dispenser using encryption is provided. A cartridge for dispensing a product may be received by a dispenser. The dispenser may then read an encrypted tag from the cartridge and decrypt the encrypted tag. The dispenser may then retrieve a current usage status for the cartridge based on the decrypted tag and determine, from the current usage status, whether the cartridge has been retired. The dispenser may then generate an alert message upon determining that the cartridge has been retired.
Abstract:
Polymorphic and amorphous forms of Rebaudioside X and methods for preparing the same are provided herein. Also provided herein are Rebaudioside X complexes and methods for preparing the same. Sweetener compositions and sweetened compositions comprising Rebaudioside X forms and Rebaudioside X complexes are described, as well as and methods of their preparation. Methods of improving the flavor and/or temporal profile of sweetenable compositions, such as beverages, are also provided herein.
Abstract:
A system and method for producing a packaged food article or beverage may include processing a first food source including a spoilage microorganism along a first processing path, which may limit temperature of the first food source to be below a temperature level that causes the spoilage microorganism to be inactivated. A second food source may be processed along a second processing path, which may heat the second food source to be in a predetermined temperature range that causes spoilage microorganisms in the second food source to be substantially inactivated when in the predetermined temperature range for a predetermined period of time. A package may be filled with the first and the second food sources. The second food source, when mixed with the first food source, may be in the predetermined temperature range for the predetermined period of time in the package to inactivate the spoilage microorganism.
