    Abstract: An apparatus and method of combining and mixing in precise proportions two or more chemicals or compounds is disclosed. The basic design of the apparatus comprises an operator control system, a drive motive assembly, one or more mixing chamber assemblies, and a cooling system. Suitable proportions of each chemical or compound may be controlled with relatively high precision. In one embodiment, the mixing chamber assemblies each comprise at least one static mixer having a plurality of perforations encased in an outer air-injection jacket. In this embodiment, the apparatus is used to make a cool, stabilized foam product, (e.g., whipping cream) infused with an alcoholic beverage without the need for adding supplemental foam stabilizing agents (e.g., polypropylene glycol alginate or pectin) to the product.

    Abstract: A novel chalcogenide material has a bulk composition which has a first material selected from the group of Si and Sn, a second material selected from the group of Sb, and a third material selected from the group of Te. The first material, second material, and third material are in a ratio of (Six or Sny) Sb2 Te5, where x is 1≦x≦5, and y is 0.5≦y≦2.0. The material can be used in a switch device, which includes a dielectric/heater layer having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, and the material having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface; with the first surface of the material immediately adjacent to and in contact with the first surface of the dielectric/heater layer. A first electrical contact is on the second surface of the dielectric/heater layer. A second electrical contact is on the second surface of the phase changing chalcogenide material. A third electrical contact is on the second surface of the phase changing chalcogenide material, spaced apart from the second electrical contact. The switching device can be programmed such that the channel length separation between the second electrical contact and the third electrical contact on the phase changing chalcogenide material is changed to represent the desired state to be stored in the device. Finally, an array of the above described non-volatile memory cells can be formed in a dielectric/heater layer and the chalcogenide material.

    Abstract: A small generator with collective multiple magnetic poles includes a magnet, multiple magnetic poles arranged in an annular shape and facing to the magnet, an annular iron core having its outer circumference combined with the multiple magnetic poles spaced apart and equidistantly.     Abstract: Based on the direct formation of molecularly imprinted polymer on gold electrode, the present invention provides a peptide sensor for the detection of low-molecular-weight peptides. A new cross-linking monomer, (N-Acr-L-Cys-NHBn)2 is employed to attach the surface of the chip and to copolymerize with other monomers. Interestingly, N-benzylacrylamide participating both polymerization and recognition is carried out in an aqueous environment.
