摘要: A method for obtaining reversible resistance switches on a PCMO thin film when integrated with a highly crystallized seed layer includes depositing, by MOCVD, a seed layer of PCMO, in highly crystalline form, thin film, having a thickness of between about 50 Å to 300 Å, depositing a second PCMO thin film layer on the seed layer, by spin coating, having a thickness of between about 500 Å to 3000 Å, to form a combined PCMO layer; increasing the resistance of the combined PCMO film in a semiconductor device by applying a negative electric pulse of between about −4V to −5V, having a pulse width of between about 75 nsec to 1 μsec; and decreasing the resistance of the combined PCMO layer in a semiconductor device by applying a positive electric pulse of between about +2.5V to +4V, having a pulse width greater than 2.0 μsec.

摘要: The invention provides novel methods for screening a sample to select a ligand to a target of interest and for obtaining information about the ligand and its binding characteristics. Specifically, the claimed multi-dimensional methods involve combining a solution of heterogeneous ligands with the target of interest to screen the ligands on the basis of one or more binding characteristics. Ligands having the first binding characteristic bind to the target of interest thereby to form a target/ligand complex. The complex then optionally is separated from the unbound components using any of a variety of separation techniques, e.g., size exclusion. At least one of the complex or unbound components then is introduced to a second “dimension”. The second dimension is capable of separating components based upon a second binding characteristic. One then elutes the ligand having the desired binding characteristics.

摘要: A device for preventing unauthorized access to female modular telephone jacks. A physical plug has been designed such that when it is inserted into an RJ-11, RJ-14, or RJ-45 modular telephone jack, it locks into place and cannot be removed without the use of a specialized tool. The specialized tool then acts as a key to unlock the plug. Several different pairs of plugs and corresponding tools have been created such that there are different `locks` and `keys`.

摘要: Examples are disclosed herein that relate to constraining communication among HMD devices. One example provides a computing system comprising a logic machine and a storage machine holding instructions. The instructions are executable to receive, for each of a plurality of head-mounted display devices, vantage point data, determine, for each of the plurality of head-mounted display devices, whether one or more other head-mounted display devices are within a vantage point scope of that head-mounted display device, the vantage point scope being based on the vantage point data of that head-mounted display device, and constrain, for each of one or more head-mounted display devices, delivery of communication data from that head-mounted display device to one or more of the plurality of head-mounted display devices, such constraint based on whether that head-mounted display device is within the vantage point scope of one or more of the plurality of head-mounted display devices.
