摘要: A fastener comprises a pin and a bushing having a hollow shank that is inserted into holes in a plurality of members being attached. A pin shank is inserted into the bushing shank to effect a widened-diameter coupling condition in which the diameter of the bushing shank is widened, and the members being attached are coupled between the diameter-widened bushing shank and a bushing flange. On the bushing shank are pawls for maintaining a non-widened-diameter coupling condition in which the pin and the bushing are coupled with the pin shank partially inserted into the bushing shank, and the diameter of the bushing shank is not widened. On the pin shank there is a groove for engaging the pawls, which normally extend out beyond the diameter of the attachment holes, but can bend inward. The groove has a depth that will accept the pawls when they are bent inward.

摘要: A state control apparatus includes a calculator for calculating adjustment amounts for adjusting a plurality of end effecting devices on the basis of preset values and measured amounts measured by a plurality of meters. The measured amounts indicate respective states of the end effecting devices. The adjustment amounts are required for conforming the measured amounts to the preset values, respectively. The state control apparatus further includes a parameter generator for generating a plurality of parameters on the basis of settings by a user. The state control apparatus further includes a comprehensive controller for outputting activating signals for activating the respective end effecting devices based on the respective adjustment amounts and the plurality of parameters. When the comprehensive controller outputs one of the activating signals for activating one of the end effecting devices, the comprehensive controller does not output the other activating signals for activating the other end effecting devices.

摘要: A weld stud comprises a leg portion having a root that is adapted to be welded to a workpiece and a resilient engagement pawl portion integrally formed at least on one side of the leg portion. The resilient engagement pawl portion extends diagonally outwardly from the end of the leg portion toward the root and is capable of bending radially inwardly with respect to the leg portion. On the outside of a lower end portion of the leg portion, an engagement step which is an inward recess formed like a step is provided. Although it is not always necessary to make the weld stud from synthetic resin, it is preferable that the entire weld stud is made of synthetic resin and is molded as a one-piece article since its use is predominantly for synthetic resin members.

摘要: An optical demultiplex circuit includes an optical circulator, a chirped fiber grating, and a fiber Bragg grating. The optical circulator has a first port for receiving an optical signal, a second port for outputting the optical signal input to the first port, and a third port for outputting the optical signal input to the second port. The chirped fiber grating selectively reflects optical signals output from the second port and outputs them to the second port. The chirped fiber grating has a wide reflection wavelength band and side lobes. The fiber Bragg grating is inserted between the second port and the chirped fiber grating and reflects, of the optical signals output from the second port, only optical signals in a narrow wavelength band corresponding to the side lobes of the chirped fiber grating.
