摘要: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for priority handling for ProSe Communications. A relay wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may act as a relay between the network and the remote WTRU. The relay WTRU may receive a temporary mobile group identity (TMGI) request message from a remote WTRU. The TMGI request message may include a TMGI, a ProSe per packet priority level associated with the TMGI, etc. The relay WTRU may receive an evolved multimedia broadcast multicast service (eMBMS) data packet from a network. The eMBMS may be associated with the TMGI. The relay WTRU may apply the received ProSe per packet priority level associated with the TMGI to the received eMBMS data packet. The relay WTRU may relay the eMBMS data packet to the remote WTRU based on the ProSe per packet priority level. The relay WTRU may forward the eMBMS data packet to the remote WTRU via a PC5 interface.

摘要: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for enhancements to NAS Protocol to transmit user data over a signaling plane. A wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) may send a first NAS message to a network device that may include a request to send user data via a control plane. The network device may establish the control plane for the WTRU. The control plane may be established without establishing a user plane connection. The network device may determine a maximum transmission rate for the WTRU to send user data via the control plane. The network device may send a second NAS message to the WTRU. The second NAS message may indicate that the control plane has been established for the WTRU and the maximum transmission rate.

摘要: Techniques for congestion management in a communication network are contemplated. For example, a wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) may include a Radio Resource Control (RRC) layer and a Non-Access Stratum (NAS) layer. The RRC layer may receive an indication for a service, for example from the NAS. The indication may be interpreted as a request for the particular service indicated. For example, the indicated service may correspond to at least one of: a mobile originated (MO) voice communication, a circuit switched fallback (CSFB) supplementary service (SS), or a MO short message service (SMS). The RRC layer may receive a signal from a network indicating that one or more services provided by the network are allowed. The RRC layer may send a connection request to the network for the service sought by the NAS if that service is one of the one or more services allowed.

摘要: A communication method implemented on a 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) communication network includes providing an attachment between a group member of a communication group and a group application server, detecting a detachment between the group member and the group application server, and reestablishing the attachment by the 3GPP communication network. A Mobility Management Entity (MME) may provide the attachment. A Group Communication Service Enabler Application Server (GCSE AS) or a Multipoint Service (MuSe) functionality may detect the detachment. The attachment may be reestablished according to the MuSe functionality. A group communication bearer may have a first priority level for allocating resources to the group communication bearer, and a second priority level for allocating resources to the non-group communication bearer. The second priority level may be different from the first priority level. Different Quality Control Indexes (QCIs) may be provided to the group communication bearer and the non-group communication bearer.

摘要: A method and apparatus for supporting machine-type communications (MTC) are disclosed. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may configure itself to operate in a mobile-originated-only mode. The WTRU may perform no, or a subset of, radio resource control (RRC) idle and/or non-access stratum (NAS) idle/standby state procedures in the mobile-originated-only mode. For example, the WTRU may perform cell reselection but not paging monitoring in the mobile-originated-only mode. Alternatively, the WTRU may perform paging monitoring but not cell reselection and location update. The operation in the mobile-originated-only mode may be triggered explicitly or implicitly. For example, the WTRU may operate in the mobile-originated-only mode if an inactivity timer expires. The WTRU may switch the mode in accordance with a pre-configured schedule. After transition of the operation mode, the WTRU may send a message to the network indicating such mode switch.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for redirecting a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) to a dedicated core network (CN) node are described. An apparatus is configured to initiate a Service Request with a non-dedicated network node. The apparatus is configured to receive a special identifier in response to the Service Request, which indicates the apparatus should be redirected to a dedicated CN node based on subscription information. Radio access network resources associated with the apparatus may be released and the apparatus may then perform a tracking area update (TAU) request which is then forwarded to the dedicated CN node.

摘要: Methods, apparatus, systems, devices, and computer program products directed to enhancements to proximity-based services (ProSe) direct discovery are provided. Among the methods is a method that may be implemented in a proximity services (ProSe) function and that may include receiving, from the first WTRU, a first discovery request message including a ProSe application identifier (ID); receiving, from a second WTRU, a second discovery request message including the ProSe application ID; in response to the second discovery request message, transmitting, to the second WTRU, a discovery response message including a discovery filter, wherein the discovery filter includes a first ProSe application code; receiving, from the second WTRU, a match report including a second ProSe application code and a metadata flag; and generating a match report acknowledgement message, wherein the match report acknowledgement message includes (1) a value of a validity timer and (2), based on the metadata flag, metadata information associated with the ProSe application ID, if any.

The reporting device may assess this information to determine if an event has occurred. The reporting device may send a message including the data based on the determination. The reporting device may establish a multiway communication between the home monitoring device, the user interface, and the reporting device.
