摘要: A multi-component extrusion die head for producing a composite tube comprises an extrusion nozzle, a main die head, and a melt flow distributor device. The main die head is configured to supply the extrusion nozzle with a first melt flow and a second melt flow, which are guided separately from one anther in the extrusion nozzle away from the main die head and toward a nozzle outlet of the extrusion nozzle. The melt flow distributor device is arranged in the extrusion nozzle outside of the main die head and is configured to split the first melt flow in a peripheral direction thereof, and to supply the second melt flow to the first melt flow such that at least one section of the second melt flow is arranged within the first melt flow in the peripheral direction.

It is proposed that, furthermore, it comprises a second core retaining plate (36) which is loosely arranged downstream of the first core retaining plate (22) relative to the mouthpiece frame (14) in the flow direction (15), and in which the areas (32) of the cores (28) farther from the upstream end section (26) are arranged to be radially fixed but axially loose.

摘要: Disclosed are an entrained polymer or an entrained polymer composition, and a method for forming and adhering an entrained polymer structure to a substrate using the entrained polymer or an entrained polymer composition. The method includes providing a substrate configured to receive application of a molten entrained polymer. A particulate entrained polymer in molten form is applied in a predetermined shape, to a surface of the substrate, to form a solidified entrained polymer structure on the substrate. The entrained polymer includes a monolithic material formed of at least abase polymer and a particulate active agent. The surface of the substrate is compatible with the molten entrained polymer so as to thermally bond with it. In this way, the entrained polymer bonds to the substrate and solidifies upon sufficient cooling of the entrained polymer.

摘要: A tube forming apparatus for forming polymeric tubing includes a housing between rear and discharge ends. The tube forming apparatus includes a core tube assembly with an exterior core tube and an inner core tube positioned partially therein and in an interior area of the housing. The tube forming apparatus includes a die that has an inner die-surface. A diverter tip is mounted in and extends from the inner core tube into the die forming a die opening between the die and the diverter tip. The tube forming apparatus includes a core tube adjustment system mounted proximate the rear end which includes an axial displacement device configured to axially position the core tube assembly for modulating wall thickness of the tube and/or an angular displacement device configured to modulate the inner core tube for modulating concentricity of the tube.

摘要: Methods, apparatus, and systems for cutting material used in fused deposition modeling systems are provided, which comprise a ribbon including one or more perforations. Material is passed through at least one perforation and movement of the ribbon cuts the material. A further embodiment comprises a disk including one or more blade structures, each forming at least one cavity. Material is passed through at least one cavity and a rotational movement of the disk cuts the material. A further embodiment comprises a slider-crank mechanism including a slider coupled to a set of parallel rails of a guide shaft. The slider moves along a length of the rails to cut the material. Yet another embodiment comprises one or more rotatable blade structures coupled to at least one rod. The rotation of the blade structures causes the blade structures to intersect and cut extruded material during each rotation.

摘要: On a rotary screen filtering device for medium to high-viscosity fluids, which comprises a rotary screen mounted for rotation in a housing, which screen has at least one screen element through which fluid can flow, the rotary screen, in the region of its sealing faces and the intermediate plates are fabricated or machined together so that they are of identical height. A gap width compensation layer is then inserted between the inlet plate and the intermediate plate and/or between the outlet plate and the intermediate plate. The package of plates is then pretensioned by means of screw bolts in such a manner that all the plates lie firmly against one another up to a maximum permissible operating pressure. Lubrication gaps of defined width are created between the sealing faces and the opposing inner faces of the inlet and outlet plates.
