Abstract: A cooling device using a capillary pumped loop (CPL), including a lower board having a looped groove formed on the upper surface, an upper board combined with the upper surface of the lower board to cover the groove, so that the flow path of a working fluid is provided, an evaporator which is provided on the flow path, and has a plurality of fine evaporating fins incorporated into the upper or lower board, and a condenser which is provided on the flow path at a predetermined distance apart from the evaporator, and has a plurality of fine condensing fins incorporated into the upper or lower board. Accordingly, a thin and small cooling device capable of performing cooling without external power can be obtained. Also, various modifications of a simple micro channel attached to an evaporator eliminate a resistance on a flow path produced by an increase in the specific volume of a working fluid due to the phase change of the working fluid, and prevent a backward flow of the working fluid due to a rapid increase in pressure. Therefore, the entire cooling system can have hydrodynamic instability.

Abstract: A method for sequestrating carbon dioxide in the ocean of the present invention coverts carbon dioxide into a high concentration of bicarbonate ions by using a neutralization method using calcium oxide commonly contained in alkaline industrial waste, prepares elution water for stably containing bicarbonate ions even when making contact with the atmosphere through aeration, and discharges the elution water into an area of the ocean of a relatively shallow depth to sequestrate carbon dioxide. According to the present invention, the present invention is a carbon dioxide storage method which uses alkaline industrial waste to carry out carbon dioxide ocean sequestration at relatively low cost, and can sequestrate carbon dioxide for a long time while minimizing bad environmental influences such as ocean acidification and the like, and is thus environmentally friendly. Therefore, it is possible to actively respond to carbon dioxide emission restrictions and simultaneously achieve economical efficiency by securing certified emission reductions henceforth.

Abstract: A method and program for a universal Job Description Format (JDF) printer driver. The universal JDF printer driver computer software program product has a computer readable program code embedded in a computer usable storage medium for controlling a data processing apparatus, where the program code is configured to cause the data processing apparatus to execute a process for generating a JDF job ticket for printing documents by a JDF compatible printing device. The process implemented by the universal JDF printer driver has the steps of obtaining device capabilities information from the JDF compatible printing device and creating a baseline JDF job ticket based on the device capabilities information, providing a graphical user interface to allow a user to modify the baseline JDF job ticket interactively, and generating a syntactically and semantically correct final JDF job ticket compatible with the device capabilities of the JDF compatible printing device.

Abstract: Example embodiments are directed to a stack-type image sensor including resistance change elements. The stack-type image sensor includes at least two light-sensing layers that detect different color light stacked on different layers. The stack-type image sensor may not require a size of a unit pixel that detects a light color to be less than 1 μm in order to generate a high resolution color image. As such, resolution saturation may be avoided.
