    摘要: Utilizing the fact that an isotropic etching rate of a semiconductor layer such as a polycrystalline or amorphous silicon layer depends on a doped amount of an impurity doped into the semiconductor layer, the impurity is doped into a semiconductor layer (26) formed on a substrate (4) so as to have a concentration distribution in its thickness direction. Then, in a region of the semiconductor layer (26) to be selectively removed, an anisotropic etching is carried out such that a portion of high impurity concentration is removed and a portion thereof in the thickness direction is remained. Thereafter, the remained portion is subjected to an isotropic etching to thereby suppress the side etching.

    摘要: An apparatus for delivering the end of a shirred casing to the nozzle of a meat packing system where the casing is connected to the nozzle to be stuffed with meat extruded from the nozzle includes a support for supporting the shirred casing from the inner side thereof, a clamping unit for holding the end of the shirred casing opposite the nozzle by pressing the casing from within, a drive unit for advancing the clamping unit toward the nozzle and for retracting the clamping unit after the shirred casing is connected to the nozzle, and a resisting body which offers resistance to the folds in the wall of the shirred casing when the clamping unit is advanced or retracted, thereby to unfold the shirred casing into a straight tubular portion as relative movement is established between the casing and the resisting body. The meat extruded by the nozzle is stuffed into the tubular portion of the casing, after which the packed meat mass is encased by closing off and fastening the casing at both ends of the meat mass.

    摘要: An apparatus for manufacturing sausages or the like comprises a stuffer tube for stuffing sausage dough into a casing, a pump for supplying the sausage dough into the stuffer tube, a casing pusher for propelling the casing, a chuck for receiving the stuffed casing discharged out of an end of the stuffer tube, the chuck being rotatable and frictionally engageable with the stuffed casing, and a linking device coacting with the chuck for twisting the stuffed casing as pushed out of the chuck into a chain of links. There are provided speed changing devices such as conical pulleys and endless belts trained therearound for changing the speeds of operation of the pump and the linking device, respectively. The casing pusher may be actuated either manually or automatically by a fluid cylinder. Manual actuation of the casing pusher permits less rigid collagen casings or irregular animal casings to be propelled without the risk of getting ruptured while being stuffed with sausage batter. The stuffer tube may be rendered rotatable or nonrotatable by a clutch actuatable by a selection lever.
