Abstract: An exhaust valve includes a body defining a passage and a flap that pivots about an axis relative to the body to selectively close/open the passage. An actuator moves the flap and a device couples the flap to the actuator. This coupling device comprises: a compression spring having a proximal end that rotates about the axis with a first element between the flap and an actuator output shaft and a distal end; a seat engaged with the distal end, while the seat is fixed in rotation about the axis with the first element, and a torsionally-rigid transmission member fixed in rotation about the axis with the first element and that immobilizes the distal end relative to the proximal end in a plane that is orthogonal to the axis. The transmission member has a slot that is elongated parallel to the axis and is traversed by the distal end.

Abstract: An exhaust gas purification member comprises an annular substrate centered on a central axis, a peripheral electrode alongside and against an outer cylindrical face of the substrate, and a central electrode alongside and against an inner cylindrical face of the substrate. Abstract: The assembly for purification of exhaust gases comprises an upstream conduit and a downstream conduit positioned parallel to each other. A space has an exhaust gas inlet communicating with the upstream conduit and an exhaust gas outlet communicating with the downstream conduit. A middle line divides the inlet into first and second areas providing a same passage section to the exhaust gases.The assembly comprises a baffle covering at least 75% of the first area and covering less than 25% of the second area. The baffle and the space are laid out so that a portion of the exhaust gases penetrate through the first area of the inlet flows into the space along flow lines forming a cusp around the baffle.

Abstract: An assembly provides a proportioned gas flow and includes a device that provides a pressurized flow of said gas, a release unit that releases the proportioned gas flow, and a chamber having an inlet fluidically connected to the device and an outlet fluidically connected to the release unit. The assembly further includes an admission valve inserted between the inlet of the chamber and the device, a metering valve inserted between the outlet of the chamber and the release unit, and a computer programmed to control the admission valve and the metering valve to provide a proportioned gas flow to the release unit. Abstract: An exhaust manifold for an engine has at least one collecting pipe for conveying exhaust gases. Several exhaust gas inlets are in fluid communication with the collecting pipe. Several flanges each define one of the exhaust gas inlets. Each flange has an external face adapted to be pressed against a receiving surface of the engine. Several back flanges are each associated to one of the flanges and are adapted to press the corresponding flange against the receiving surface. The flanges are areas of a single plate, which has a thickness between 0.2 and 2 mm. The areas are continuously connected to one another by other areas of the plate. The collecting pipe is not integral with the plate. The manifold has leak tight connections connecting the collecting pipe to each of the flanges.
