Abstract: In certain embodiments described herein, a heated line forming system includes a heating coil system configured to produce a heated line on a surface of a metal part. The heated line forming system also includes an air knife cooling system configured to maintain a dry area for the heated line, and to direct a coolant (e.g., cooling water, liquified gases such as liquid argon, solidified gases such as carbon dioxide snow, and so forth) around the heated line via a spray mechanism such that the coolant does not flow or splash into the heated line on the metal part. In certain embodiments, the heated line forming system includes multiple induction coils arranged along a line and spaced a short distance apart, but which, when operated simultaneously together, form a heated line on a surface of a metal part.

Abstract: A control module of a label printing apparatus includes memory configured to store item data and shelf label data indicative of an ID of an electronic shelf label (ESL) for the item, and at least one communication module configured to: receive, from an external device, an update request to make at least one change to the item data and communicate an ESL update request to the ESL to make the at least one change at the ESL. A processor of the control module is configured to: update the item data stored in the memory according to the update request; determine if the ESL has been updated in dependence on whether an acknowledgement is received from the ESL; and if the ESL has not been updated, control the communication module to output an alert signal to indicate that the ESL is out of sync with the label printing apparatus.

Abstract: Described herein are examples of tool based welding technique monitoring systems with sloped workpiece calibrations. Using two calibration steps (or one fluid calibrating movement), the disclosed system is able to monitor welding technique along a straight welding joint of any slope, be the slope 0/180/360 degrees (i.e., horizontal), 90/270 degrees (i.e., vertical), or any slope in between. Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a reflow oven, comprising a heating zone, a cooling zone, a barrier and exhaust zone, a gas exhaust passage, a gas exhaust power device, and a detection device. The heating zone comprises a heating zone inlet and a heating zone outlet. The cooling zone comprises a cooling zone inlet and a cooling zone outlet. The barrier and exhaust zone is located between the heating zone outlet and the cooling zone inlet. An inlet of the gas exhaust passage is communicated with the barrier and exhaust zone. The gas exhaust power device is disposed on the gas exhaust passage. The detection device is disposed on the gas exhaust passage and used for detecting parameters of gas in the gas exhaust passage, wherein the parameters of the gas reflect a blockage condition of the gas exhaust power device. The reflow oven according to the present disclosure can ensure that the gas containing soldering flux is sufficiently drawn out from the barrier and exhaust zone, thereby ensuring the production quality of a circuit board and improving the qualified rate of the circuit board.

Abstract: Systems and methods of a laser welding device are disclosed. The laser welding device includes a laser generator configured to generate welding-type lasing power. A lens focuses the welding-type lasing power at a focal point on a workpiece to generate a puddle during a welding-type operation. A wire feeder is configured to feed wire to the puddle generated by the laser generator. A laser scanner controls the lens to move the focal point of the welding-type lasing power in multiple dimensions over the workpiece during the welding-type operation. In some examples, the feed wire is used in an additive manufacturing process.
