Abstract:
The present invention relates to a zinc oxide phosphor characterized by emitting visible light with a broad emission spectrum close to white, and a process for producing the same. A powder prepared by adding a plurality of additives to zinc oxide and heat-treating the resulting mixture is further hydrogenated to improve the luminous efficiency of the zinc oxide phosphor. The zinc oxide phosphor providing a broad emission spectrum covering a wavelength range over substantially the entire visible region can be applied to a white diode, a white vacuum fluorescent display, and a fluorescent paint.
Abstract:
Distortion of an image that is projected to a screen is suppressed by an image processing apparatus including a vertical reduction section for performing reduction and correction in the vertical direction with respect to image data of the projected image and a horizontal reduction section for performing reduction and correction in the horizontal direction with respect to image data on which reduction and correction were performed in the vertical reduction section.
Abstract:
A package of the present invention has a laminate structure of a plurality of ceramic layers, and includes a cavity for housing a light emitting element. A mount surface is defined on a side surface parallel with the depth direction of the cavity. A pair of external electrodes each including a charged electrode portion and a coated electrode portion are formed over the entire length in the laminating direction at two corners defined by intersection of the mount surface and two side surfaces perpendicular to the mount surface. When the package is mounted, a pair of charged electrode portions and a pair of coated electrode portions are soldered to a surface of a substrate.
Abstract:
A connector having a plug connected to an antenna through a coaxial cable and a receptacle. The plug includes a cylindrical shell, a pin contact, and an insulative pin contact holder provided inside the shell. The receptacle includes a first receptacle housing having a shell-receiving hole and a second receptacle housing provided inside the shell-receiving hole and having a pin contact-receiving hole. A first protrusion is formed in a distal end of the pin contact holder. A first reentrant in which the first protrusion is to be fitted is formed in a distal end of the second receptacle housing. The present invention can prevent the connection of external antennas of other manufacturers to the receptacle because the first protrusion and first reentrant are specified in shape. Also, the plug can be readily connected to the receptacle because the plug can be connected to the receptacle independently of the posture of the plug.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus used in a projection display device which displays an image formed on an image forming section by projecting it on a screen, for correcting the original image in order to correct a trapezoid distortion produced when the image is projected obliquely on the screen and forming the image to be formed on the image forming section, comprising a trapezoid correction section for correcting the trapezoid distortion by reducing the original image by pixel interpolation for producing one pixel from plural pixels; and an outline correction section for performing an edge emphasis processing on the distortion corrected image obtained by the trapezoid correction section.
Abstract:
The present invention relates a hair quality improver containing the extract, steam distillate or pressed product of a plant selected from Eucalyptus, hop, ginger, gardenia, clove or safflower. Use of this hair quality improver brings about an improvement in the quality or touch of the hair such as strength-body, fluffiness, manageability or gloss.
Abstract:
An erasing device includes a line scanner on an upstream side in a recording medium conveying direction, includes a thermal head downstream in the recording medium conveying direction of the line scanner, and includes a platen in a position opposed to the thermal head as a heating device across a recording medium conveying path. The erasing device causes the heat generating elements of the thermal head in positions corresponding to color and density sensors in positions of an image detected by the line scanner to generate heat. The erasing device controls, according to detected colors or density, a quantity of heat to be generated.
Abstract:
A decoloring apparatus includes a decoloring processing unit, a sheet conveying unit, an image reading unit arranged further on an upstream side in the sheet conveying direction than the decoloring processing unit, a thickness sensor arranged further on the upstream side in the sheet conveying direction than the decoloring processing unit, a decolorability determining unit configured to determine, on the basis of a detection result in at least one of the image readinq unit and the thickness sensor, executability of decoloring processing in the decoloring processing unit, a storing unit configured to store information indicating a number of sheets determined to be unexecutable for decoloring processing, and a display control unit configured to cause the information indicating the number of sheets determined to be unexecutable for decoloring processing to be displayed.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment, first and second branch paths of a decoloring apparatus are formed downstream in a sheet conveying direction of a reading section in a conveying path. A diverting section is provided at a branch point of the first and second branch paths in the conveying path. A control section determines on the basis of image data whether decoloring processing should be applied to a sheet, diverts, if determining that the decoloring processing should be applied to the sheet, the sheet to the first branch path with the diverting section, and diverts, if determining that the decoloring processing should not be applied to the sheet, the sheet to the second branch path with the diverting section. A decoloring section is provided between the reading section and the branch point in the conveying path and heats the sheet to decolor an image formed with a decolorable color material.
Abstract:
There is provided a decoloring device including a decoloring unit, a first sheet conveying unit, a first sheet feed unit, a thickness detecting unit, a decolorability determining unit, and a second sheet feed unit. The first sheet conveying unit conveys the sheet to the decoloring unit. The first sheet feed unit feeds the sheet to the first sheet conveying unit. The decolorability determining unit determines whether or not the sheet which is subject to thickness detecting is decolorable by the decoloring unit based on a detection result in the thickness detecting unit. A second sheet feed unit is disposed at a downstream side in relation to the thickness detecting unit and at an upstream side in relation to the decoloring unit in a sheet conveying path by the first sheet conveying unit and feeds the sheet to the first sheet conveying unit.
