    摘要: A method and system are provided for automatically rerouting logical circuit data in a virtual private network (“VPN”). A dedicated logical circuit in the VPN is monitored for status information pertinent to the dedicated logical circuit. The dedicated logical circuit includes a primary communication path for communicating data. Based on the status information, a failure is identified in the dedicated logical circuit. Once the failure in the dedicated logical circuit is determined, a logical failover circuit is then identified. The logical failover circuit includes an alternate communication path for communicating the data for the failed dedicated logical circuit. After the logical failover circuit has been identified, the data from the dedicated failed logical circuit is rerouted to the logical failover circuit without manual intervention. After the data has been rerouted the logical failover circuit, a determination may be made as to whether the failure in the dedicated logical circuit has been corrected. If it is determined that the failure in the dedicated logical circuit has been corrected, then the data from the logical failover circuit is rerouted back to the dedicated logical circuit in the VPN without manual intervention.

    摘要: An apparatus for on-line optical monitoring of the quality and/or chemical condition of a fluid; in particular, a hydrocarbon-based fluid used in transportation and industrial applications. The apparatus includes an IR-transparent internal-reflectance-element (IRE) that has at least one essentially flat surface and at least one convex surface, and at least two IR light paths of uniquely determined central-frequency and bandwidth with light from a source entering a flat surface of the IRE, internally reflecting at least once from at least one convex surface of the IRE that can contact a fluid, exiting a flat surface of the IRE, and being received at a detector. The apparatus also includes electronics to power the source and receive output from the detector of each light path. The apparatus can be controlled to independently monitor the IR light reflected within the IRE at the uniquely determined frequency of each path, and to communicate information relevant to the IR light detected.

    摘要: A method and system are provided for utilizing a logical failover circuit for rerouting data from a failed network circuit in a first data network to a second data network. The network circuit in the first data network includes a logical circuit for communicating data. When a failure in the network circuit in the first data network is detected, a network failover circuit is selected in the second data network. The network failover circuit in the second data network includes a logical failover circuit for communicating data. The data in the failed logical circuit in the first data network is rerouted over the logical failover circuit in the second data network until the failure in the network circuit in the first data network is resolved. After the failed network circuit in the first data network has been restored, the data is rerouted over the restored logical circuit. The first data network may be contained within an Inter-Exchange Carrier and the second data network may be contained within a Local Exchange Carrier.

Hydraulic members extend from mid-portions of front and rear end walls and connect to front and rear upper segments for raising the second sidewall to provide unhindered side access. The second sidewall is moved to the closed position for contained transport of recyclable materials over public roads.

The method also includes entrapping soot generated by the fuel reformer in a soot trap. The method further includes determining if a soot purge of the soot trap is to be performed and generating a purge-soot signal in response thereto. Further, a second air/fuel mixture having a second air-to-fuel ratio is advanced into the fuel reformer in response to generation of the purge-soot signal. The second air-to-fuel ratio is greater than the first air-to-fuel ratio in order to burn soot present in the soot trap. A fuel reformer system is also disclosed.

The framework mechanism defines logic that specifies at least one relationship between items in the hierarchy of information. The framework operates on data stored external to the framework mechanism, thereby achieving a separation between the logic in the framework mechanism and the data upon which the logic in the framework mechanism operates. The framework mechanism is data driven, which means that adding data for a new product to the external data results in the framework mechanism autonomically adding the new product data to the hierarchy of information in the product configuration selection model.
