摘要: A light emitting diode is arranged on a sapphire substrate. The light emitting diode includes an n-GaN layer, an n-InGaN light-emitting layer, a p-AlGaN layer and a P-GaN layer, which are grown through vapor phase growth in this sequence. Within the p-GaN layer and p-AlGaN layer, 1.times.10.sup.20 cm.sup.-3 of Mg and 2.times.10.sup.19 cm.sup.-3 of Mg are contained, respectively. Within each of the n-GaN layer and n-InGaN light-emitting layer, 5.times.10.sup.18 cm.sup.-3 of hydrogen is contained, thereby preventing Mg from diffusing therein from the p-GaN layer and p-AlGaN layer.

摘要: A highly reliable semiconductor acceleration sensor in which the amplification of the oscillation of the cantilever beam does not become large and break the beam. The semiconductor acceleration sensor has a beam support provided on a circuit substrate and a flexible acceleration detection beam deflecting according with the applied acceleration. An adhesive is disposed between the beam support and the acceleration detection beam. The semiconductor acceleration sensor has a sensor element for converting the deflection of the acceleration detection beam into an electrical signal. The natural oscillation frequency of the support section, formed by the adhesive and a root section of the beam which is fixed to the adhesive and the resonance frequency of the acceleration detection beam section extending from the root section do not overlap.

摘要: A connector is provided that can be coupled with a low inserting force and that will not terminate coupling operation while it is in an incomplete coupling state. The connector comprises a pair of housings coupled to each other, a pivotal piece pivotally provide on one of the two housings, a spring interposed between one housing and the pivotal piece, and a latch means for locking the two housings that are coupled to each other. When the two housings are coupled, and after the two housings reach a predetermined intermediate coupling state, the pivotal piece is pivoted by the spring, thereby completing coupling of the two housings.

摘要: A residential facility control system transmits data as a radio signal between host and subsidiary apparatus. Transmitting and receiving devices of the host and subsidiary apparatus are reduced in power consumption. A transmitting circuit of the transmitting device of the transmitting and receiving apparatus is supplied with power from a transmitting circuit power source control in synchronization with a first timing signal from a first timer for a period of time which is necessary for transmission. A receiving circuit of the receiving device of the transmitting and receiving device is supplied with power from a receiving circuit power source control for a shorter period of time in synchronization with a second timing signal from a second timer which is synchronized with the first timing signal. When the receiving circuit receives a signal for the shorter power supply period of time, the receiving power source control maintains power supply to the receiving circuit for a period of time which is necessary to receive the signal. Synchronization between the first and second timing signals is achieved by initializing the second timer by way of timer synchronization device each time when the receiving device receives an effective signal or by regularly transmitting a forced synchronization signal to the receiving device from a forced synchronization signal generator provided in the transmitting device and by receiving the synchronization signal at the receiving device to initialize the second timer by way of the timer synchronization device.

摘要: An apparatus for changing workpiece holders in a transfer press. An attachment 90 having suction cups 10 is removably attached to a cross-bar 8. The attachment 90 is supported on a attachment support base 19 disposed in a lower die 2a-2e. A movable upright support 12 which is movable between the attachment support base 19 and the cross-bar 8 is disposed on a die change truck 4. An attachment bearer 17 having a holding device 16 capable of holding the attachment 90 is provided on the top end of the movable upright support 12. The attachment 90 which has been supported on the attachment support base 19 is, in turn, held in position by the holding device 16 of the movable upright support 12, and then through movement of the movable upright support 12 the attachment 90 is transferred to the position of the cross-bar 8 for being fitted on the cross bar 8. Change of suction cups 10 is performed simply through attachment 90 changing. Thus, change of workpiece holders in connection with work change is automatized.
