摘要: A turbomolecular pump capable of maintaining a maximum discharge rate even in a higher pressure has rotor blades or stator blades formed such that surface angles on a first surface of the blades facing the direction of rotation differ between an inlet port side of the blades and an outlet port side. The surface closer to the inlet port has a larger angle than on a side closer to the outlet port. One side of the blades has a plurality of surface portions each with different angles. The angles of the surfaces are in the range of 20° to 50° on the inlet port side, 10° to 40° on an intermediate portion, and 10° to 90° on the outlet port side. The angles of the first and second surface portions are larger than that of the intermediate surface portion.

An outer cylinder is disposed over the inner cylinder. The outer cylinder has an outer flange disposed on an upper side of the outer cylinder and an outer sealing groove disposed on an upper end surface of the outer flange. An intake port is disposed at the upper side of the inner and outer cylinders. An exhaust port is disposed at lower sides of the inner and outer cylinders. A pump mechanism pumps gaseous molecules from the intake port to the exhaust port to discharge the gaseous molecules from the exhaust port.

摘要: A first insulating film is formed on an integrated circuit chip on which an I/O pad is formed. A first opening portion is formed above the I/O pad. A conductive layer and a barrier metal layer which are electrically connected to the I/O pad through the first opening portion are stacked on the first insulating film. The conductive layer and the barrier metal layer are patterned by a single mask. A second insulating film is formed on the resultant structure. A second opening portion is formed in the second insulating film at a position different from that of the first opening portion. A solder bump or metal pad is formed on the barrier metal layer in the second opening portion. The position of the solder bump or metal pad is defined by the second opening portion.

The image forming lenses which form a first image can have various exit pupils. The entry pupil of the relay lens system can be changed in accordance with each particular exit pupil by selecting one from a plurality of apertures or by a movable aperture. Consequently, a second image can be formed that reproduces the first image while maintaining good quality.

摘要: In a lens barrel of a zoom lens, a luminous flux is divided or its path is switched so that the same luminous flux is directed to both a taking optical system and a finer optical system. Focusing and camera shake compensation are performed before division of the luminous flux or switching of its path so that images observed through a finder are already in focus and compensated for camera shakes. The lens barrel has multiple movable segments to allow the taking optical system and the finder optical system to be moved out simultaneously. To achieve zooming, a holding member for holding both a focusing lens unit and other lens units is moved so that all these lens units are moved simultaneously. Adjustment of the focusing lens unit, necessitated as a result of zooming, is achieved by moving a part of the focusing lens unit within the holding member.
