Abstract: An embossed decorative sheet that can have various characteristics, and a method for producing the same. An embossed decorative sheet according to one embodiment of the present invention has a structure in which a patterned layer, an adhesive layer, a transparent thermoplastic resin layer, and a surface protective layer are laminated in this order on a thermoplastic resin substrate sheet, and in which an embossed pattern is formed on at least an outermost layer. The transparent thermoplastic resin layer has a structure including a first resin layer, an adhesive layer, and a second resin layer.

Abstract: A method of recovering short-chain nucleic acids having a length of 1000 bases or less from a whole blood sample, which includes bringing a first mixture including a whole blood sample into contact with a first nucleic acid adsorbent to adsorb nucleic acids derived from the whole blood sample, removing the first nucleic acid adsorbent from being in contact with the first mixture to recover liquid components of the first mixture, bringing a second mixture including the recovered liquid components into contact with a second nucleic acid adsorbent to adsorb short-chain nucleic acids having a length of 1000 bases or less from the whole blood sample, separating the second nucleic acid adsorbent from being in contact with the second mixture, and eluting the short-chain nucleic acids absorbed in the second nucleic acid adsorbent and recovering the short-chain nucleic acids from the second nucleic acid adsorbent.

Abstract: Provided are a spout stopper that prevents a decrease in sealing performance to a cap without deterioration of liquid-shutting-off performance of a stopper body, and a packaging container using the spout stopper. The spout stopper includes: a stopper body including a cylindrical side wall; and a cap to be mounted from an upper end side that is one end of the side wall. A projection is formed at an upper end edge of the side wall so as to project outward from the side wall, and a top surface at an upper end of the side wall is in surface contact with a predetermined contact surface inside a cap over an entire circumference thereof in a state where the cap is mounted on the side wall.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display device including: a counter substrate having a first transparent substrate, a laminate structure of a black layer and a first metal layer, and a plurality of terminal portions; a liquid crystal layer; an array substrate having a second transparent substrate, an active element, a second wiring layer formed of a second metal layer, and a light shielding layer. Abstract: The anti-counterfeiting structure includes an allochroic layer including an allochroic part having a characteristic of changing from a first material to a second material in response to laser irradiation, a first layer transmissible to a laser beam, a second layer transmissible to the laser beam, at least a part of the second layer being located between the allochroic layer and the first layer, and a coating layer transmissible to the laser beam and covering at least the first layer. The coating layer and the first layer are bonded together more weakly than the first layer and the second layer are. One of the first layer and the second layer is a foamable layer having a characteristic of changing from an unfoamed state to a foamed state in response to laser irradiation, while the other of the first layer and the second layer is an optical device.

Abstract: An anti-counterfeiting structure includes a substrate having a surface, and an device structure positioned on the surface. A side opposite to the side on which the substrate is positioned with respect to the device structure is an observation side, and the device structure comprises an optical device layer that emits predetermined light towards the observation side, and an information portion that contains given information. The information portion comprises a first substance having optical transparency, wherein the first substance is changeable to a second substance having a different optical characteristic from the first substance by laser irradiation, and the second substance representing information. The device structure has a display surface that is a surface opposite to the surface on which a surface of the substrate, and is configured so as to display information contained in the information portion via the display surface.
