摘要: Example methods and systems for service-aware global server load balancing are described. One example may involve a first load balancer receiving, from a client device, a request to access a service associated with an application deployed in at least a first cluster and a second cluster. In response to determination that a first pool in the first cluster is associated with an unhealthy status, the first load balancer may identify a second pool implementing the service in the second cluster, the second pool being associated with a healthy status and includes one or more second backend servers selectable by a second load balancer to process the request. Failure handling may be performed by interacting with the client device, or the second load balancer, to allow the client device to access the service implemented by the second pool in the second cluster.

摘要: Some embodiments provide a novel method for deploying different virtual networks over several public cloud datacenters for different entities. For each entity, the method (1) identifies a set of public cloud datacenters of one or more public cloud providers to connect a set of machines of the entity, (2) deploys managed forwarding nodes (MFNs) for the entity in the identified set of public cloud datacenters, and then (3) configures the MFNs to implement a virtual network that connects the entity's set of machines across its identified set of public cloud datacenters. In some embodiments, the method identifies the set of public cloud datacenters for an entity by receiving input from the entity's network administrator. In some embodiments, this input specifies the public cloud providers to use and/or the public cloud regions in which the virtual network should be defined. Conjunctively, or alternatively, this input in some embodiments specifies actual public cloud datacenters to use.

摘要: A system for migrating a non-tenant-aware local application to a tenant-aware cloud application environment is disclosed to migrate individual modules of the application to instances of the cloud by grouping the modules via common characteristics in partition groups. By grouping modules together by partition group before migrating the modules to cloud instances, modules that share resources can be placed in closer logical proximity to one another in the cloud, modified, or deleted to optimize performance. The information from these modules is processed to create a visualization graph representing information on the cloud. The visualization graph is preferably multilayered so it can display information from different hierarchical layers of a cloud instance.

摘要: Systems for locating server nodes for edge devices using latency-based georouting. At least one cloud platform including at least one cloud platform router and a node database is in network communication with at least one edge device and a plurality of server nodes. The at least one cloud platform receives an initial hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) request from the at least one edge device. The node database is queried using the at least one cloud platform router and node data is fetched from the plurality of server nodes using an object-oriented function. A query result is returned indicating a nearest node from the plurality of server nodes. The HTTP request is responded to with a unique hypertext markup language (HTML) web page, and the HTTP request is executed using the nearest node.

摘要: Improving load distribution and consistency is provided. A device intermediary to clients and servers can maintain bit values indicative of server availability stored in indices arranged in various levels. A lowest level comprises indices corresponding to a list of servers repeated multiple times. Each index in a higher level maps to a set of indices in a lower level. The device can receive a request from a client to access a server. The device can identify an index in a highest level. The device can determine a second index in the highest level that is after the index in the highest level and has a bit value indicating server availability. The device can identify an index in the lowest level mapping to the second index in the highest level. The device can select a server corresponding to the index in the lowest level.

摘要: Example methods and systems for capability-aware service request distribution are described. In one example, a network element may obtain a set of capability information associated with multiple load balancers capable of service request handling and identify varying capability levels among the multiple load balancers. The network element may assign unequal path cost information to the multiple load balancers to indicate the varying capability levels. The unequal path cost information may include (a) a first path cost that is assigned to the first load balancer; and (b) a second path cost that is assigned to the second load balancer and different to the first path cost to indicate the lower capability level of the second load balancer compared to the first load balancer. In response to detecting a service request, the service request may be steered towards one of the multiple load balancers based on the unequal path cost information.

摘要: A data transmission method includes receiving a service request sent by a terminal device. The method also includes determining, based on the service request, a target transmission path of service data corresponding to the service request and a change policy corresponding to the target transmission path. The method further includes changing, according to the change policy, a current content delivery network (CDN) to a target CDN. The target CDN includes a plurality of serving nodes corresponding to the target transmission path. The method additionally includes sending an indication message to a first serving node in the target CDN to indicate the first serving node to send the service data to the terminal device through the target transmission path; or sending an indication message to a second serving node in the target CDN to indicate the second serving node to send the service data to the terminal device.

摘要: A control server receives probe data from a plurality of data centers indicating measured latencies with a first IP address associated with an origin server. The control server sums the measured latencies of a first data center having a lowest measured latency and a second data center. When the sum is below a threshold value, the control server determines the IP address to be an anycast IP address and selects a proper subset of the plurality of data centers as proxying data centers for other data centers in the plurality of data centers. When the sum is not below the threshold value, the control server determines the IP address to not be an anycast IP address and selects the first data center having the lowest measure latencies as the proxying data center for other data centers in the plurality of data centers.

摘要: Apparatuses and methods for data traffic management in multi-source content delivery are described. The apparatus includes a downloader and a controller. The downloader is coupled to servers via communication links. The controller is configured to determine initial download requests for the servers based on predetermined information about a quality of the links. The controller is also configured to send the initial download requests to the servers with the downloader. The controller is further configured to update the information about the quality of the communication links after the downloader receives data associated with a data file from the servers via the communication links. The controller is also configured to determine subsequent download requests for the servers based on the updated information about the quality of the communication links. The controller of further configured to send the subsequent download requests to the servers via the downloader. Rate adaptation is also proposed for each server, and download termination requests are transmitted to the servers when the download is almost complete at the apparatus.
