Abstract: The disclosure provides a downlink transmission method and an eNodeB in a multiple input multiple output system. The method includes: obtaining channel quality indication of a User Equipment (UE) to generate a channel condition indication value; obtaining channel rank indication of the UE to generate a channel correlation indication value; obtaining uplink channel impulse response estimation data of the UE to generate a channel variation state indication value; selecting a downlink transmission mode according to the channel condition indication value, the channel correlation indication value and the channel variation state indication value; transmitting data to the UE in the selected downlink transmission mode. Because of extracting information from a current channel as a basis of a subsequent selection of the downlink mode, the disclosure can greatly improve a resource utilization ratio of a system and realize a better wireless transmission effect.

Abstract: A fuel pump, for an internal combustion engine, has a housing accommodating a pump and a motor. The motor is arranged to drive the pump so as to pump fuel through the housing. The motor has a wound stator having a plurality of inwardly directed teeth about which a stator winding is wound, and a radially outer surface in contact with an inner surface of the housing. One or more pathways are formed between the inner surface of the housing and the outer surface of the stator, for the flow of fuel there through. Each pathway is formed by an axially extending recess formed in the outer surface of the stator and aligned with a selected tooth of the stator.

Abstract: Embodiments for reducing redundancy in video coding are disclosed. In accordance with at least one embodiment, video content is represented as a tree structure in which the nodes of the tree structure are associated with attributes of the video content. An encoder analyzes the nodes to determine whether there is redundancy associated with a last node of a divided node. In another embodiment, bidirectional prediction video coding techniques are applied to the video content. The encoder analyzes two lists of reference frames to determine whether a third mode of bidirectional prediction is redundant to a second mode of bidirectional prediction. The efficiency of video coding is improved by refraining from sending data symbols to the decoder in the event that the video coding techniques contain redundancy.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for efficient peer-to-peer communication support in interconnect fabrics. Network interfaces associated with agents are implemented to facilitate peer-to-peer transactions between agents in a manner that ensures data accesses correspond to the most recent update for each agent. This is implemented, in part, via use of non-posted “dummy writes” that are sent from an agent when the destination between write transactions originating from the agent changes. The dummy writes ensure that data corresponding to previous writes reach their destination prior to subsequent write and read transactions, thus ordering the peer-to-peer transactions without requiring the use of a centralized transaction ordering entity.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are representative embodiments for performing entropy coding or decoding using a counter-based scheme. In one exemplary embodiment disclosed herein, a first codeword is received from compressed digital media data. The first codeword is decoded into a first digital media data value by referencing a codeword table that associates the first codeword with the first digital media data value and a second codeword with a second digital media data value. A counter for counting occurrences of the first digital media data value is incremented. The value of the first counter is compared with the value of a second counter that counts occurrences of a second digital media data value. If the value of the first counter and the value of the second counter are equal (or greater than or equal), the codeword table is updated to swap codewords between the first and second digital media values.
