Abstract: A cord reel cable including a polymeric sheath with a conductive EMI drain and a method of manufacture therefor. The cord reel includes a cable comprising power and data conductors, as wells as a single drain wire which is grounded to a cord reel housing or spool or the like. The drain wire contacts an outer ETFE layer surrounding the cable in order to provide EMI shielding to the cable.

Abstract: A composition and method for reducing the coefficient of friction and required pulling force of a wire or cable are provided. A composition of aqueous emulsion is provided that is environmentally friendly, halogen free and solvent free. The composition is compatible with various types of insulating materials and may be applied after the wire or cable is cooled and also by spraying or submerging the wire or cable in a bath. The composition contains lubricating agents that provide lower coefficient of friction for wire or cable installation and continuous wire or cable surface lubrication thereafter.

Abstract: A wire harness includes: a conductive first wiring material wired to a vehicle; and a second wiring material wired to the vehicle in a state where at least a part of the second wiring material is bundled with the first wiring material, and having a flow passage formed therein through which a liquid can flow. An aluminum alloy stranded wire includes a plurality of the aluminum alloy element wires twisted together. An automotive electric wire includes the aluminum alloy stranded wire. A wire harness includes the automotive electric wire, and a terminal crimped to the aluminum alloy stranded wire of the automotive electric wire.
