摘要: The invention relates to a method for optimising material recovery in a chemical pulping process. The method comprises treating of cellulosic raw material with cooking chemicals in a cooking step, where lignin is at least partly dissolved into cooking liquid phase and separated from fibres. The lignin is separated from the cooking liquid phase. The separated lignin is used for formation of a treatment composition comprising at the most 1 weight-% of aluminium. A bleaching liquid phase is treated with the treatment composition in order to remove organic humic substances from the bleaching liquid. Organic sludge is formed and it is used for energy production in a chemical recovery step.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for reducing fouling in a microbial fuel cell. The method comprises feeding of an influent comprising organic substance(s) into the microbial fuel cell (MFC), which comprises an anode and a cathode connected through an external electrical circuit with each other. Organic substance(s) are converted into electrical energy in the microbial fuel cell by using microorganisms, such as exoelectrogenic bacteria, and a treated flow is removed from the microbial fuel cell. A cleaning agent composition is fed simultaneously with the influent to the microbial fuel cell. The invention relates also to the cleaning agent composition and its use.

摘要: The present invention relates to a filler aggregate composition comprising filler particles of ground calcium carbonate (GCC); a pretreatment agent selected from polyvinylamine (PVAM) and cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM), or a mixture thereof; and a nanofibrillar cellulose (NFC); wherein said filler aggregate composition is in the form of a slurry, wherein said pretreatment agent has an average molecular weight below 6000000 g/mol and a has a charge density below 7 meq/g, determined at pH 7, and the nanofibrillar cellulose is present in an amount of about 0.1-40% of the dry weight of the filler particles. Further it also relates to its method of production, and its use in stocks, paper and paper board.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for controlling hydrophobic particles in aqueous environment in paper or board manufacture. 摘要: New polyvinylamide and/or acryl acid-based copolymers. The new structured block copolymers are based on the block copolymerization of N-vinyl formamide (NVF) with other monomers by using a bifunctional initiator. Further, a method of preparing the structured block copolymer is provided, and especially a method wherein the NVF-based block is at least partially hydrolyzed to obtain PVAm. Also the use of the new structured block copolymers in sludge dewatering and in papermaking processes is disclosed.

摘要: The present invention concerns a method of optical measurement of an aqueous stream, and of processing the results of the measurement in order to determine the anionic charge of the stream, the method being carried out by measuring the light absorption of the stream and predicting the amount of anionic groups in the stream using a mathematical processing, such as mathematical calculations. Particularly, the method includes the steps of adding an amount of a cationic dye to the aqueous stream, measuring the light absorption spectra of the obtained dye-containing stream, and processing the obtained light absorption spectrum using said mathematical processing in order to obtain the anionic charge. The invention also concerns the use of the obtained spectrum in determining the turbidity of the stream, as well as a device suitable for use in carrying out the method.
