Abstract:
A photocatalytic air purification apparatus and method of fabricating the same. The apparatus may be configured to include a light source surrounded by one or more porous plate substrates. An inner and outer surface of each plate substrate may be coated with a photocatalyst material. The light source may be placed in a direction parallel to the direction of an air flow and in optical proximity to the plate substrates in order to activate the photocatalyst coating. The photocatalyst coating associated with the plate substrates may be activated by absorbing light with a wavelength shorter than a cut-off activation wavelength from the light source in order to capture and decompose organic components and airborne pollutants in the air by the activated photocatalyst.
Abstract:
A mounting apparatus includes a chassis and a mounting piece. The chassis includes a rear plate. An expansion slot is defined in the rear plate, and a clipping portion extends from an edge of the expansion slot. The mounting piece includes a main body, an engaging piece extending from a first end of the main body, and an inserting portion extending from a second opposite end of the main body. The engaging piece defines a clipping slot, and two blocking portions are located on the opposite side of entrance of the clipping slot. The clipping portion is engaged in the clipping slot, and the two blocking portions prevent the clipping portion from being disengaged from the clipping slot.
Abstract:
A system, a computer device implemented method, and a computer readable article of manufacture for executing a computer implemented method for a unified access control for a plurality of composed services in a distributed computing environment without requiring repeated input of security certification. The method includes the steps of: acquiring a first role of a user in a first composed service; sending an invoking request by a processing unit of the first composed service to a second composed service; receiving the first role of the user in the first composed service and predefined role-role mapping relationships, and determining a second role of the user in the second composed service by a role determining component; and then sending the determined role in the second composed service by a role sending component to the second composed service, thereby providing unified access without requiring repeated input of security certification.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to 3-Heterocyclic Substituted Indole Derivatives, compositions comprising at least one 3-Heterocyclic Substituted Indole Derivative, and methods of using the 3-Heterocyclic Substituted Indole Derivatives for treating or preventing a viral infection or a virus-related disorder in a patient.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a lithium ion battery. The lithium ion battery cathode includes a cathode, a separator, an anode, and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution. The cathode includes a cathode current collector and a cathode material layer disposed on a surface of the cathode current collector. The cathode material layer comprises cathode active material, conductive agent, and adhesive uniformly mixed together. The cathode active material comprises cathode active material particles and AlPO4 layers coated on surfaces of the cathode active material particles. The separator includes a porous membrane and a protective layer coated on a surface of the porous membrane. The protective layer prevents the separator from being melted during charging or discharging of the lithium ion battery.
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments of method and apparatus for processing the images of fingerprints can be provided. For example, aligned images can be subjected to a tessellation process, whereas each image can be partitioned into a number of regions. Within each region at least one parameter associated with the ridges can be measured and stored. Such exemplary parameter can include, e.g., the prevailing ridge orientation, the average ridge separation and the phase of the ridges. The data can be projected and stored in a multidimensional coordinate system, whereas the representations of any two data can be separated by an amount corresponding to the dissimilarity of these data.
Abstract:
A system is disclosed for ejecting a semiconductor die from a tape to which the die is affixed during the wafer dicing process. In embodiments, the system includes an ejector tool including a support table, ejector pins and a pick-up arm. The support table is connected to a vacuum source for creating a negative pressure at an interface between the tape and support table. The support table further includes an aperture with one or more chamfered sidewalls. The vacuum source is connected to the aperture so that, upon placement of the tape on the support table with a die centered over the aperture, the vacuum source pulls a portion of the tape around the edges of the semiconductor die away from the die and into the space created by the chamfered edges.
Abstract:
Use of low dose streptozocin in the preparation of an animal model for screening drugs for treatment of antoimmune type 1 diabetes is disclosed, in which streptozocin is administrated intravenously at a dose of 15-30 mg/kg per time for 5 days and administrated again on the 7th day and 14th day after last time of offering drug. A method for preparing rhesus monkey model of autoimmune type 1 diabetes and autoimmune type 1 diabetes animal model obtained are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A phosphorated polymer includes a conductive polymer main-chain and a side-chain connected to the conductive polymer main-chain. The side-chain includes an electrochemically active phosphorated group Pm. A method for making the phosphorated polymer and a lithium-ion battery using the phosphorated polymer is also provided.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention provides a method for fabricating a group III-V p-type nitride structure. The method comprises growing a first layer of p-type group III-V material with a first acceptor density in a first growing environment. The method further comprises growing a second layer of p-type group III-V material, which is thicker than the first layer and which has a second acceptor density, on top of the first layer in a second growing environment. In addition, the method comprises growing a third layer of p-type group III-V material, which is thinner than the second layer and which has a third acceptor density, on top of the second layer in a third growing environment.
