Abstract:
Provided is a cylinder block which includes a liner and a water jacket having a closed-deck structure in a simple configuration and which has a structure providing high rigidity and enabling easy formation at low cost. A cylinder block of the present invention includes a liner arranged on an inner circumference surface of a bored hole and a water jacket arranged on the outside of the liner in the radial direction. By a bending process of folding back an end portion of a cylinder-shaped member, a hollow portion capable of forming the water jacket is formed integrally in one end portion or both end portions of a liner portion forming the liner, and the cylinder-shaped member is enclosed with a cylinder block forming material by casting.
Abstract:
In order to provide a toy that increases the commercial value of the toy, imparts fresh wonderment and intellectual excitement to the user, and employs a simple structure with a suppressed number of parts, thus making it possible to reduce manufacturing costs and the number of manufacturing processes, the toy (1) comprises: an external component (2), provided with a hole (10) on the lower portion thereof, that maintains a substantially spherical shape and is provided with a housing space formed on the interior thereof; a lower component (3) disposed such that it can move between the inside and the outside of the housing space through the hole (10), and is disposed such that, when inside the housing space, the lower surface thereof aligns with the surface of the external component (2) and the toy (1) forms a substantially spherical shape; a locking means; a magnetic body disposed inside the lower component (3); and an elastic component. When no magnetic force acts between an external magnetic component and the magnetic body, the elastic force of the elastic component is resisted and the lower component (3) is retained inside the housing space by means of the locking means, by means of which the substantially spherical shape is maintained. When a magnetic force has acted between an external magnetic components and the magnetic body, the locking means is released and the lower component (3) rushes out from the hole (10).
Abstract:
The embodiments of the present invention relate to a double-side printer system in which two thermal heads printing print data on a front face and a back face of a thermal recording paper in which thermo-sensitive layers are formed on both sides are provided, and when these thermal heads are driven in accordance with the print data, temperatures of these thermal heads are sensed in order to vary print densities of the data to be printed, and ON/OFF times for electrical connections are controlled with respect to heater elements of the respective thermal heads, and to a control method thereof.

The cover is comprised of a door portion disposed at the expanding side of the airbag, a surrounding portion surrounding the door portion, a tear portion defining the door portion and tearing due to an expansion force of the airbag, an installation portion protruding from the surrounding portion adjacent to the tear portion toward an opposite side of the expanding side, and a hinge portion connecting the door portion and the surrounding portion located outside of the installation portion.
Abstract:
A driver includes an electromechanical energy transducer deformed by applying and removing voltage, a supporting member having the electromechanical energy transducer joined thereto for transmitting movement of the electromechanical energy transducer resulting from the deformation to the supporting member, and a movable body disposed in an inner peripheral portion of the supporting member. A deformation speed of the electromechanical energy transducer when a state change occurs from a prior-to-deformation state of the electromechanical energy transducer to an after-deformation state of the electromechanical energy transducer differs from a deformation speed of the electromechanical energy transducer when state change occurs from the after-deformation state to the prior-to-the deformation state. When the electromechanical energy transducer is deformed at the lower of the deformation speeds, frictional force generated between the movable body and the inner peripheral portion moves the movable body and the supporting member.
