摘要: The present disclosure relates to an electrochemical method for converting captured CO2 into formate (HCOO−). This method involves capturing waste CO2 by co-absorption of the waste CO2 with green ammonia (NH3) to form ammonium bicarbonate (NH4HCO3) and converting the ammonium bicarbonate (NH4HCO3) into formate (HCOO−), wherein said converting is carried out in an integrated flow electrolyzer system. Another aspect of the present disclosure relates to an integrated flow electrolyzer system comprising an alkaline electrolyzer for producing green NH3 from NO3−, an NH3—CO2 absorbing unit whereby waste CO2 is co-absorbed with ammonia (NH3) to form ammonium bicarbonate (NH4HCO3), and a bicarbonate electrolyzer for converting the ammonium bicarbonate (NH4HCO3) into formate (HCOO−).

摘要: There is disclosed an electrolyser (10, 20, 50) for operation at supercritical conditions, in which chambers (200, 210, 520) for retaining respective fluid reaction products are separated by a porous wall which permits a flow of electrolyte fluid therethrough and which inhibits a reverse flow of the respective reaction product. A controller is to control flow control equipment to maintain supercritical conditions for the electrolyte fluid. There is also disclosed a method of operating an electrolyser, and methods of manufacturing compound porous electrodes for such electrolysers.

摘要: A modification method of an anode for hydrogen production via electrolysis, the anode for hydrogen production via electrolysis and use thereof are provided. The modification method of the anode for hydrogen production via electrolysis includes providing an anode substrate which can be used for hydrogen production via catalytic electrolysis; and depositing a plurality of silver nano particles on the active surface of the anode substrate to form a silver nano layer, wherein gaps are present between the silver nano particles, and a part of the active surface is exposed from the gaps. In the modification method provided by the present application, the silver nano layer covers on the surface of the anode substrate, and chlorine ions are adsorbed onto the surface of silver in the process of hydrogen production via electrolysis to form a chlorine removal layer.

摘要: A method of synthesizing a three-dimensional (3D) reduced graphene oxide (RGO) foam embedded with water-splitting nanocatalysts includes providing at least one solution containing at least one precursor of nanocatalysts, and a graphene oxide (GO) aqueous suspension; mixing the GO aqueous suspension with the at least one solution to form a mixture suspension; and performing hydrothermal reaction in the mixture suspension to form a 3D RGO foam embedded with the nanocatalysts.
