Abstract:
A process for separating a feed mixture comprising at least one aromatic hydrocarbon and at least one non-aromatic hydrocarbon by extractive distillation (ED) utilizing a solvent mixture comprising sulfolane and at least one co-solvent. The co-solvent is an alkyl sulfolane having from 4 to 8 carbon atoms per molecule. The solvent mixture is added to the top of the ED column, and the feed mixture is added at a point on the ED column that is lower than the point where the solvent mixture is added. Extractive distillation is performed, and the aromatic and non-aromatic hydrocarbons are separated.

Furthermore, a p+ layer is disposed co-extensively on the n++ layer of the LED according to the invention, with a p layer further disposed co-extensively on the p+ layer. A p cladding layer is disposed co-extensively on the p layer. A multiple quantum well (MQW) layer is disposed co-extensively on the p cladding layer, and an n cladding layer is further disposed co-extensively on the MQW layer. A second n layer is disposed co-extensively on the n cladding layer. An n+ layer is disposed co-extensively on the second n layer of the LED according to the invention. After partially etching the device, an n electrode is formed opposite n++ layer non-extensively on the surface of n layer, and a second n electrode is formed non-extensively (without etching) upon the n+ layer.

Abstract:
A convenient replacement composite power saving environmental bulb structure to replace the traditional bulb by diodes allowing easy replacement of the bulb and color change as desired adapting to the environment of the living space comprised of two semi-spherical casings, a caulking groove is provided inside of each semi-spherical casing to snap onto the keyboard and longitudinally arranged retaining rings are provided on external surface of each said semi-spherical casing and a matching hole is bored in each ring for fast insertion in position by the terminal plate sleeve plugged on the keyboard; a tapered channel track by both sides of the matching hole permits the terminal plate to easily slide into the keyboard so that both pins of the diode are directly connected to the sleeve of the terminal plate together with the keyboard, both semi-spherical casings and the voltage variation plate into an integrated assembly in parallel for giving excellent conduction.
Abstract:
A simply structured bi-functional roller skate has a pair of shoe embodiments. Each shoe embodiment is provided with a front securing seat which is a tubular device with a forwardly extended board, and a rear securing seat which is a tubular device with a backwardly extended board. Both the front and rear securing seats are embedded at the front end and the rear end of each shoe embodiment respectively. Each tubular device of the front and rear securing seats is in alignment with an engagement hole so as to permit a first and a second wheel axle each having a proper length to be led therethrough at the front and rear end of a shoe embodiment. Each wheel axle has a knob-ended locking screw at one end and an internally threaded section at the other end so as to permit the knob ended locking screw to be secured to the end of each wheel axle after roller wheels are mounted to the wheel axles respectively. The brake block has a threaded rod so as to make the brake block engage internally threaded holes defined at the front and rear securing seats respectively.
Abstract:
A core crush resistant prepreg for use in making a fiber reinforced composite panel structure is provided. The prepreg comprises a woven fabric consisting essentially of carbon fiber tow strands impregnated with a hardenable polymeric resin composition. Typically the fabric has an areal weight of from about 180 to about 205 grams per square meter. The prepreg has an average fiber tow aspect ratio of less than about 15.4, a prepreg thickness of at least about 0.245 mm, and a prepreg openness of at least about 1.2 percent but less than about 6.0 percent. Preferably, the resin composition is predominantly viscous in nature and has a tan &dgr; value of between 0.9 and 2.0 at an elevated temperature between 70° C. and 140° C., and an average epoxy functionality of greater than 2.0. A method for evaluating core crush resistance properties of a prepreg is also provided. The method includes determining a fiber tow average aspect ratio of the prepreg, determining a prepreg thickness, and comparing said average fiber tow aspect ratio and prepreg thickness to a set of predetermined values.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to aqueous polyurethane dispersions wherein the polyurethanes contain terminal hydrazide groups and correspond to the formula wherein the terminal, modified hydrazide groups are present in an amount of 1 to 25% by weight [calculated as C(O)—NH—NH—C(O), MW 84], based on the weight of the polyurethanes, and wherein X represents OR′ or NHR′, R represents the residue obtained by removing the isocyanate groups from an NCO prepolymer, R′ represents a group which is inert to Isocyanate groups under the conditions used to form the polyurethane of in formula I, R″ represents a divalent, linear or branched aliphatic group containing 2 to 10 carbon atoms, provided that there are at least two carbons between the oxygen atoms, wherein the aliphatic group may optionally be substituted by heteroatoms to form ether or ester groups, m is 0 or 1 and n is 2 to 4.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for forming capacitor of a dynamic random access memory cell. The method comprises providing a substrate and the word line structures formed thereon. A first dielectric layer is deposited on the substrate and the word line structures. A first polysilicon layer is deposited to form bit line contacts and bit lines. A second dielectric layer is formed on the first dielectric layer and the bit lines. The partial second dielectric layer is removed to form at least a wall structure in the second dielectric layer. The partial second dielectric layer and partial first dielectric layer are removed to form a capacitor contact opening. A second polysilicon is deposited into the capacitor contact opening and on the wall structure and the second dielectric layer. The partial second polysilicon is removed to form a capacitor node whereby a side-wall of the capacitor node is adjacent to the wall structure.

Abstract:
A voltage-controlled oscillator comprising a voltage compensation transistor is disclosed. The voltage compensation transistor is able to provide an equivalent resistance to the bias voltage supplied to the oscillator. When a sudden raise in the voltage of the power supply takes place, the equivalent resistance of the compensation transistor will drop, such that the bias voltage supplied to the oscillator may be pulled down, whereby the oscillation frequency of the ring oscillator may be adjusted.
