摘要: Position detecting elements are disposed in an endoscope insertion portion at predetermined intervals. Even when the endoscope insertion portion is bent, position data representing the detected positions of the elements is used to infer or detect the shape of the insertion portion. A virtual element is disposed between adjoining elements so that a predetermined condition will be met. Position data of the virtual element is used together with the actually detected position data in order to interpolate data for the purpose of detecting the shape of the insertion portion. Consequently, as if a larger number of elements were disposed, the shape of the insertion portion can be detected highly precisely.

摘要: By disposing a plurality of magnetic-field generating elements in the inserted portion of an endoscope, and by detecting it using a magnetic-field detecting unit disposed around the inserted portion, the shape of the inserted portion inserted into a body cavity is detected and it is displayed on a display device. For this purpose, it is determined whether the inserted portion is in an effective detection range in which the insertion portion shape can be detected by a detecting unit with a practicable accuracy, and by changing the display color of the inserted portion shape based on the determination result, it can be easily checked whether the inserted portion is in the effective detection range.

摘要: Magnetic-field generating elements or magnetic-field detecting elements are fixed into an insertion part having elasticity, which is inserted into a subject, by an insulating material while ensuring that forms of the respective magnetic-field generating elements or the respective magnetic-field detecting elements are not changed. Even when the insertion part is bent, there is no change in either the function of magnetic-field generation or the function of magnetic-field detection. Magnetic-field detecting elements or magnetic-field generating elements which are arranged at known positions around the subject are combined with each other to calculate three-dimensional positions of the magnetic-field generating elements or the magnetic-field detecting elements within the insertion part. Further, a form of the insertion part is estimated, and a three-dimensional image corresponding to a form of the insertion part is produced. Moreover, a three-dimensional image is projected onto a screen surface to display a stereoscopic image corresponding to the form of the insertion part.

摘要: An imaging apparatus is provided with a negative lens, a variable focal length lens unit including a material with an electrooptic effect, a light blocking unit, including the material with the electrooptic effect, capable of changing an aperture diameter, and a switch, interlocked with each other, capable of supplying electric power to the variable focal length lens unit and the light blocking unit which are arranged in order on an optical axis from an object side to an image side. When the switch is turned off, the variable focal length lens unit is set to bring an object at a far point into focus and the light blocking unit is set so that an aperture is determined by an aperture stop, while on the other hand, when the switch is turned on, the variable focal length lens unit is set so that an object at a near point is in focus and the light blocking unit is set to be smaller in aperture. Apertures different in size are determined by a plurality of annular transparent electrodes incorporated in the light blocking unit and configured concentrically. Thus the imaging apparatus can be constructed to be small or compact in size and is easy in manufacturing.

摘要: A device to stop bleeding of a part by supplying a heating current to and heating a heating element which is contained in the end part of a probe and whose voltage drop at its ends shows temperature dependency and by applying the end part to the bleeding part. The device includes a resistance installed in series with the heating element, compares the voltage of the resistance with a reference voltage, and controls the heating current value using the comparison output which depends on the temperature increase of the heating element, thus keeping the heating temperature at a temperature suitable for stanching.

摘要: A display device includes: a display panel for displaying images; a transparent protective member for protecting a display surface of the display panel; an adhesive layer that is disposed between the display panel and the transparent protective member so as to bond the display panel and the transparent protective member together; and an adjacent layer that is disposed adjacent to the adhesive layer and between the display panel and the adhesive layer or between the transparent protective member and the adhesive layer. The outer boundary of the adhesive layer lies beyond the outer boundary of the adjacent layer, as viewed from the front of the display surface of the display panel.

摘要: There is provided a tablet filling device, which can smoothly supply vials without any stop of the device even if the vials cause a jam within a stocker. The tablet filling device is related to removing a vial 9 from a stocker 21 accommodating a large number of vials 9 according to a prescription data, dispensing tablets into the vial 9 to fill the vial, and discharging the vial 9 filled with the tablets. The stocker 21 includes: a vial removing device 24 configured to scoop the vial 9 accommodated in the stocker 21 upward to remove the vial; and a vial conveying device 23 configured to convey the vial 9 toward the vial removing device 24. When a jam of the vial 9 occurs, the vial conveying device 23 is reversely driven.
