Abstract: Example apparatus for regulator heat transfer are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a housing including an inlet, an outlet, a first valve, and a stem disposed therein. The example apparatus includes a vortex generator disposed in the housing. A fluid is to flow from the inlet through the vortex generator. The example apparatus includes a second valve disposed in the vortex generator. In the example apparatus, the vortex generator is to generate heat prior to the fluid flowing through the second valve to the outlet. The stem is to control the first valve and the second valve to regulate an amount of the heat conveyed to the first valve.

Abstract: An internal valve includes a valve body, a valve stem, a poppet valve, and a bleed valve. The bleed valve includes a body with a bore. A spring seat fits within the bore and is coupled to the valve stem, and includes a guide sized to receive the valve stem and a flow aperture. The flow aperture defines a connecting bleed path that fluidly connects a bleed flow path and a bleed outlet. The valve stem shifts from a first position where the poppet valve and the bleed valve are closed, to a second position where the bleed valve is open and the poppet valve is closed, and a third position where the poppet valve is open and the bleed valve is closed. A spring disposed in the bore bears against the spring seat and is arranged to close the poppet valve and open the bleed valve.

Abstract: A slam shut safety device includes a valve body, a valve disc, a reset pin, and a reset pin guide. The valve disc is disposed within the valve body and shiftable along a slam shut axis between an open position and a closed second position. The reset pin is operatively coupled to the valve disc and shiftable along the slam shut axis relative to the valve body between an untripped position placing the valve disc in the open position and a tripped position placing the valve disc in the closed position. The reset pin guide supports one end of the reset pin, thereby providing added structural integrity to the reset pin and valve disc.

Abstract: A pressure regulating device including a valve body, an actuator assembly coupled to the valve body and including a diaphragm, a valve seat disposed in the valve body, a control assembly operatively connected to the diaphragm to move responsive to movement of the diaphragm, and a travel stop. The control assembly includes a control element that is movable, relative to the valve seat, between an open position, wherein the control element is spaced from the valve seat, and a closed position, wherein the control element sealingly engages the valve seat. The travel stop is configured to engage the control element to stop movement of the control element upon reaching the open position. The travel stop is adjustable to change the open position of the control element, such that a wide open flow capacity of the pressure regulating device can be adjusted.

Abstract: A balanced port pressure regulator includes a valve body having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet connected by a fluid passageway, an orifice being disposed between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. A valve seat is disposed within the fluid passageway. A valve plug is also disposed within the fluid passageway. A piston is disposed within the valve body, the piston separating the fluid passageway from a balancing chamber. A sleeve extends away from the piston, the sleeve forming a balancing passage that fluidly connects the fluid passageway with the balancing chamber. The sleeve includes an open end that terminates within the orifice. By terminating within the orifice, the open end of the sleeve generates boost only towards the end of a valve opening cycle when the valve plug approaches a fully open position, which is where boost is most needed.
